My Brother Danny and I spent a few days at the off grid remote cabin building a new patio and a new door and researching some new places to catch brook trout
Your cooker turned out very nice....I'm impressed by your work and how you can do so much on your own. Also, enjoyed hearing the info on speckled trout and using the moss to preserve them. Thanks for sharing.
Your dedication to improving the remote cabin with a new patio and door, while also succeeding with the Brook Trout episode, is truly commendable. Your passion for enhancing both living space and outdoor experiences shines brightly. Here's to more achievements and adventures ahead. And I am Floating Village Life.
Great day with your brother and some work on the cabin and a great day of fishing. Brings back memories when you were kids. Doesn’t get any better than that. The cabin is coming along great.
Hey nice to meet your brother Danny always good to spend time with family . What an epic fish catch and two at the same time .. nice . good laughs good fishing cant beat that. Interesting note on the moss I didnt know that. Love the BBQ you made how nice works well too. supper looked great, see ya on the next one , loved as always.
When I was a kid the Game Warden told me to never toss a brookie back in the water if I didn't want to eat it. Limit was 10 but he said the brookies in the high mountains we lived in were overpopulated, kill everyone you catch. I remember cooking 40 up in foil over a fire 9- 1973. My buddies hadn't brought enough food. They were delicious. Thanks for sharing your cabin experience and showing cooking techniques.
I would love to see you do a video on fishing tactics and tackle. I had never seen anyone use this technique of, hook lure and hook. I would love a close up view of this setup and others you use.
You got to spend some time with your brother at the cabin anyway. Ye had a awesome time. Lots trout in that pond. Both of you had a great feed of them. Excellent video. Hope you had a great Father's day.
Hi Bob! Another great weekend at the cabin! It would be great hanging out with your brother all weekend. I don't have brothers and really can't picture my sisters agreeing to go fishing for the weekend with me. Lol. Those deck boards was nailed down with pull-hard nails. Lol. Permanent hardware.
First thing I noticed on your brother's raft was his "forgotten" dip net hanging from the back. Too funny. I have a similar BBQ that I made from a 3lb compressor tank. It fits perfectly in the box on the back of my Pioneer 500 and it's a perfect size for a couple of burgers or small steaks.
Nice video's. Great company for each other. The deck porch turned out great. And those trout you guys caught just made my mouth water. I love trout. Smoked trout is really too. I think great that you're rebuilding/fixing up the cabin. I've never seen anyone twist the fishes head to break it though. That was "different"
First time watching and have liked and subscribed. I hunted in NF many years ago,I took a moose and caribou and met a lot of nice people. it,s obvious to me that you guys have done your share and have lots of experience. Wishing you and your brother many more years of enjoyment and am looking forward to your hunting videos too.
That is a cute little barbecue you made, hope it works well for you. I have never heard of stuffed trout before, it looks good. Oh wow!!! Those potatoes look good, I will have to try that some day
Another nice video Bob!! ☮️💕 I was blown away that your lake water is pretty potable as is! You guys are so lucky that you can catch n keep out there. Are you allowed to use barbed hooks?
What a catch of trout! good info on preserving the fish with moss, very interesting! It is Heart Warming to see You Two brothers sharing happy times and a lovely trout dinner 💚
I am just about to build an off grid cabin for hunting and fishing and was wondering what size your cabin is . I' love to watch your videos. I am in eastern N S.
Out here in BC I use a belly boat on little lakes like that. The only problem with a belly boat, is that they are so comfortable like the nicest chair you've ever sat in, is that you can get so relaxed that you doze off in it, then end up going bump bump bump against a log on the other side of the lake! Then it's a long kick back to the other side! We go for rainbow trout in these parts. Great fish go up to 2 pounds and more and they are almost as tasty as ocean run salmon. Great vids you make. I look forward to them. I'm way too lazy to make my own!
Love to see you guys enjoying the camp. I'm going up in a couple of weeks myself. Reminds me of how simple things can be and still so enjoyablol loved the videos, guys.
