Lmao no. Search The Bosses, LCS Round Table and the recent Are you ready? they are all absolutely insane pieces of content. This is really good but not much better than the cringe LEC respect the narrative tbh. Also Misfits is not a NA team or are they very noticable at all. These guys absolutely disappeared after 2017 and became completely irrelevant so trying to hype them up is a bit... weird tbh

@@isahalegre6059 Absolutely NOT. The LCS should stick to NA contents and that is what they are really good at. I would rather see TSM vs C9 Spring 2017 first before any run from NA at any international event tbh.

Would’ve been a really dope upset but I really don’t think MSF would’ve been able to upset another top team like SSG, who swept SKT 3-0 in the final. So IMO doesn’t feel like as big of a what if as maybe ROX the previous year, who very well could’ve won it all.

Biggest what-if for me was if doublelift didn't die to viktor what place TSM wouldve ended up in 2016. Remember their bracket run couldve been c9 and h2k which was super winnable for them.

@mcchickenz RNG was actually super good at the ardent censer meta because it buffed UZI way too much. SSG could not even take 1 game from RNG in group stage. Fighting against MSF is probably tricky, but if they faced SSG at the finals, RNG might win 3-0

@@belgianfootball4529 this guy didn't say ANYTHING about semi's or finals. He said they performed "well" and were "1 game away" from doing something momentous. Cloud 9 made Semi's in 2018 though. TL beat the reigning world champions in a B05 in 2019. Both TL and Flyquest were one game away from making it to Quarters in 2020. The list goes on.

2017 Worlds was pretty much the first LoL esports I watched, and I was basically learning all the history of the orgs and player and storylines through the lens of this tournament, so this series is forever stuck in mind cos I felt like I'd got involved just as this incredibly hyped moment was gonna happen!

What an incredible video. I am not sure what other teams/players you can do at this scale in the LCS for a major tournament series though, I think this is the only one where you can get both perspectives. However, a hype NA Final with old players would always be cool.

When Ignar doesn't want to lose as a speck a dust and rather be a raging storm against a huge titan. I literally started to cry more thinking about that... He got what he wanted, a good showing and became one of the most memorable moments in LoL Esports history.

I became a fan of Misfits during this series. After they disbanded I started rooting for the teams of the players (the ones who are still in the major leagues, especially POE's, Ignars and Hans Samas Teams). It's so incredibly touching to watch this. Great production.
