As a former owner of a red 2000 GTV 1. Gen and white one from the 2. Gen, I got water in my eyes when I see that. ONLY to see the masterpice of an engine makes me crying!!!!!
I watch many restoration shows but the attention to detail of this team is sensational and a pleasure to see such talented craftsmen at work. Even Michael Angelo would be spellbound with this perfection. I hope that the owner treasures the car for years to come. Bertone's masterpiece of design. Love it. ❤👍👌👌🇦🇺

I have a lot of affection for fun little cars that are not exactly famous or popular so this is right up my alley. Economically speaking, restoring one of those doesn't make sense but... If it's your dream car or has sentimental value, it's amazing what can be done. Congrats on the achievement.

Absolutely beautiful and in Alfa red. I live in South Africa and as a young man I owned a few GTV’s in my youth. 1600, 1750 and 2000’s. And we drive RHS cars in SA. Parabéns !
I have only watched three projects you guys have done so far, as a body tech apprentice in 1976 with Mercedes Benz we were never allowed to use body filler, we were trained to panel beat, file,shrink and planish the metal parts filling was done using lead,but i have to say you guys do an amazing job on these older models,all i can say is you're top notch tradesmen keeping the trade alive,today it's replace everything or scrap it keep up the great work.

I sold my USA Sprint Veloce way back in the day when I was in college and it's the biggest mistake I ever made. Best car I ever had. Thank you so much for restoring these amazing cars back to the road. So beautiful~! I want one before I leave this world so bad it's driving me crazy.

If I may expound on my comment. I enjoyed all aspects of your presentation, the quality of the video itself, the quality of your work, the order of your workspace, the clean uniforms, etc. It’s my opinion that that is rare these days. I’m a retired hairdresser and believe it or not there are similarities between our crafts. I was driven by the pursuit of perfection, neat and tidy, pressed white dress shirt and black slacks as my uniform. Over the years I witnessed that ethos deteriorate in those around me, replaced with an attitude of “who cares, this is who I am.”, and “That’s good enough.” The way you pursued making the bodywork as it should be is inspiring and gives me pleasure and hope! Keep doing what you do!
@@alcalatechnology When I win the lottery I’ll send a vehicle your way. The closest I’ve come to the level of what you do is a semi restoration of a 1989 Toyota Landcruiser. I tore the engine down and replaced the head and cleaned the engine and it’s compartment, amongst other things. I’m retired now and would enjoy another vehicle to restore and now you are a source of inspiration for me. Thanks, I’ll be following you. PS. The Audi Quattro is iconic.
I am a long time ALFA lover. Had a 67 1600 GTV SCCA race car, a 1969 spider I bought new and kept for over 40+ years before selling to a collector to gain garage space for a 2015 4C LE. I live in S/E Michigan....perhaps you know of BradCo ALFA who only works of ALFAs. Some are stock and others get the full ALFAHolics treatment. Lots of love for ALFAs old and new in Motor City area with a very active AROC Detroit chapter.
Fantastic work. I was puzzled by the music which I found a bit distracting but at the end you revealed that the car was going to an Asian customer so I guess that answered my question. I have owned four Alfa’s the first if which was a 1750 GTV. Wonderful cars.

Did this car originally come from Malaysia? It's a RHD and it carried the name of the distributor here on the windscreen. I'm glad that it's been restored. A friend of mine had the same car restored in Thailand.
