THE RESULTS ARE IN!! 

I was pregnant with my second son and at 8 weeks started bleeding. I went in and they said it was a spontaneous abortion. I was freaked out. They told me I wouldn't make it past 20 weeks. And they could give me a pill to make me miss carry. I refused and was on bed rest. Well now I have a beautiful wonderful amazing 4 year old little boy. I can't imagine if I would have listened to these doctors.

So excited for the happy news!!! You guys deserve to be treated so much better. Sorry for the crazy day, you two.

its been 32 years for me and those 2 words bring tears to my eyes still. the memories of that day and the 48 hours after hit me like a run away train over a full 60 seconds. it has benn a few years since i decided no more grieving. even with moving forward i know that baby and my knowing of her for such a short time but never getting to hold her in my arms was such a miracle and blessing. every day is a blessing.

I think I would be calling in the morning to find a new doctor too. I was have gone crazy as well waiting to hear. Not very considerate of the doctor to leave you hanging like that. Still praying for you all to have a happy, healthy baby! God Bless.

Hey guys. Im a new follower and just wanted to let u know. Im currently 19 weeks preg and i had the same things happen to me with this pregnancy after having 4 msc. There is hope. Im now counting down till 24 weeks where there is a chance of survival (due to other health conditions brought on by this pregnancy leading to early contractions). Hang in there. You guys are a great little family that will be added to. Will be praying for u. Stay strong, God has an amazing plan for you guys. Thanks for sharing your life and story so openly with us.

Who's watching this in 2016

With my last pregnancy, I had 3 or 4 bouts of spotting and my doctor wasn't very optimistic. I remember reading the wording on my blood work orders and the diagnosis was sponatneous abortion. I was SO disheartened. Well, now my baby girl is almost 5 months old. :) Stay positive and look at each day as a blessing.

I can see why Jackson likes climbing. It is so adorable Jared is such a great dad.

Keep positive. I have spotted a lot and even bleeding like a period with my second. Had lots of tests done and ultra sound and everyone is fine so far. They have no explanation as to why! I am 21 weeks along with my second. I have a 4.5 year old boy. So bleeding doesn't mean you will loose the baby at least not all of the time! I am thinking of you guys and love you!

I'm praying so hard for you guys. I know too well what it feels like to struggle with fertility. I've got a beautiful 3.5 year old but have been trying since he was born to have another baby and have had multiple miscarriages. I'm currently on Clomid and progesterone every cycle and have had 4 failed attemps.. Praying I get lucky the 5th time. I'm sure everything will be perfect for you guys. I hope heartedly believe that everything happens for a reason and this little bean was meant to be here and will thrive. I wish you all the best guys.

Thinking of you and praying for you here in Alberta, Canada, but you guys have to admit this is all just incredible, inspiring really. Ellie got pregnant with no medical intervention, is positively glowing with health and energy, and rising HcG levels! We are soooo happy for you and delighted that you are sharing with all of us!

I was refreshing all of your accounts all day yesterday waiting to hear results(I can't even imagine how you felt!), and let me tell you I just about squealed like a giddy schoolgirl when I saw the tweet that the levels doubled! Lol! I am SO happy for you guys! I know there is still an uncertain path ahead, but this is a huge step in the right direction! God is SO good! I am praying that everything continues to go in the right direction, and that in around 9 months you will be holding a new baby in your arms! Also praying that you will have better cooperation from your doctor, you certainly didn't need to be going through all of those obstacles just to get some simple blood work results! Goodness! Just keep your faith in God, and He will pull you through this!

Guys, I know everyone is upset with Ellie's doctor but he did exactly what she asked. She asked him for a personal opinion, not a medical opinion. Even medically, basing it off the little information they had it didn't look favorable. When you have had losses before, or have had difficulty conceiving you feel a little differently about these things. You kind of don't want to get your hopes up or get attached until you have some evidence that the pregnancy will continue. It doesn't make him a bad doctor. What is important is that Ellie trusts him with her health and the health of her baby.

I spotted the first three months with my baby boy and even had a lot of bleeding too and he is just perfect. She does need to stay off her feet as much as possible though. I am praying for you guys and I have faith things will work out fine!

I just started watching you guys last night. A little addicted. I'm 31 pregnant with my first baby. Watched some of your struggles, I feel your anticipation for results. We find out how many weeks I am Dec 2nd. It's tough waiting. The only really big thing I'm having is terrible fatigue. Like I haven't slept in years. Some days worse than others. Anyway, I will pray for you. Happy faces. :-)

I'm sooo relieved for you guys! I've been praying for you every night since Bryan Lanning told us about your situation. Of course I'm gonna keep following you now, I have to see this gorgeous baby in 8 months time! Having worked as a midwifery assistant (on a ward that also cared for Mums with pregnancy complications), I think the progesterone is definitely a good idea. You'd probably be OK with out it, but with it things will probably go even better. I'm sooo happy for you guys!

Great news congrats!!! I'm upset that the Dr. didn't call you guys in a timely matter I work in a Dr.'s office and that's unacceptable we have to call all our patients back at the end of the day! So happy that everything worked out in the end;)

I was there not too long ago. I had a scary bloody episode after confirming i was pregnant. Thought i miscarried and it turned out i had a subchorionic hematoma. Here i am 17 weeks today and so far so good i was also on progesterone.

OH HAPPY DAY! I had to wait ALL DAY to get off work and watch your video!! (stupid work always puttin a cramp in my style! lol). Man, what WONDERFUL news. PLEASE Ellie, rest. Take this time for you, the baby, and your family. Do things that naturally keep you calm.. baths... meditating.. praying... (do you do yoga?)... in those moments of stress, breathe and be still. we're pullin' for ya champ!

My sister was going through the same thing. This is her first pregnancy and she started bleeding just a little bit. Her levels didn't double but she had an ultrasound a week ago and the baby is there! The even heard the heartbeat. So she probably had two fertilized embryo but maybe one died. I mean that is what her doctor told her. But she is now very healthy and the baby is growing just how it should!!
