When I read and taste the fruits of the fabulous Dharma mind (Sogyal Rinpoche) that created (the Buddhist Center Dzogchen Beara) these teachings have sustained myself and others for years. I am reminded of how exceptional and brilliant the inimitable Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche was and still is? Memory of him and my master Sogyal Rinpoche will be eternal for me and true Dharma lovers. While the beauty and genius of Buddhism is blazed by brilliant exponents of the Buddhist doctrine. We are very fortunate that Peter Cornish has helped us to know these (Greats) of Buddhism, as well as other Lamas who have come and taught in this stunning place, to expound these brilliant Dharma teachings and guide us is nothing short remarkable.

Hi Peter and Tom, i discovered Dzogchen Beara, quite by chance whilst driving around that wonderful coastline, my car decided to follow the sign to your retreat, it seemed i had no choice, there was no thought. There i discovered the most wonderful peaceful, glorious place, there was accomodation for a couple of days, then i had to leave, i did not want to go. I bought a singing bowl to add to my collection of sound and i bought your autobiography "dazzled by daylight", i have read it twice, and then as now, i would dearly love to meet you. My car wanted to head up another path that i think would have lead to you but my "mind" interferred with the nature and i drove back up to the north, i wish i had followed the natural instinct to just arrive. I hope i meet you in this life time. TOM, Jurgen, whomever, can you arrange it ;) blessings to you x

I have fond memories of this centre and the Beara when I lived here from 2000. Great place. I was very disappointed though to hear that Sogyal Rinpoche was apparently an abuser.

hmmm.. the soul must be awoken. it's mind consumes the mind of the host. the two become one. practice samathi and wipasana together. do as you walk. results will come. quickly.
