The Return | Minecraft Modded Survival Ep. 1 

I remember coming home from a long day at middle school, procrastinating my homework watching this series as it came out, hooked on every upload until the unspeakable hours of the morning. Now I get to see it again, as I'm almost finished with a college degree. So excited to see the future of this series, and to see something again that I thought was a remnant of my childhood that I'd always treasure dearly. Long live the Captain!

I looked up this channel again on a whim, mostly for nostalgia, and came across this. I absolutely loved Divine RPG, as it was the first survival season I watched Jordan play. The new Jerry’s Tree, the jungle stegosaurus, the different dimensions and bosses, and of course Jerry’s Sword. Good times. Nice to see Jordan hasn’t changed. Definitely looking forward to this new series.

Home from middleschool, hanging in my friend's house that smelled of smoke and algea from their fishtank, the scent of perfume from their mother. Eating peanut butter pop tarts. Shoving homework away to watch Cops and Robers and the first survival series Captian Sparklez did. Laughing. Falling in love with Jerry. The creation of Jerry's Tree. Watching all those survival for the nostalgia coming back to this video. Remember the cows.

He’s actually the goat, bringing back precious moments of our childhood. Whether we played factions, prison, survival, hunger games, creative, this game was the most important thing to us at some point

I'd definitely recommend "Swing Through Grass" if not being able to hit mobs in grassy areas is enough of an inconvenience. 'Hwyla' could also be a huge help for figuring out what blocks you're looking at are, and it also has a health and mob indicator as part of it's features

This makes me smile, every time i would stay home sick from elementary school, i would watch the super modded survival sieries, brings back so many memories We all miss you jerry

this is great. i was addicted to your modded survivals and hunger games almost 10 yrs ago, now done with college and in pilot training. came back to watch some of your old stuff and saw these new episodes, its insane

Hey Jardoon, at least you didn't do a standard cube. You actually put a unique looking roof on. I also agree with you on the cherry logs and planks. That deep red, wooden hue shines beautifully in contrast with the birch wood.

I remember watching ultra modded back when i would come home from middle school almost a decade ago... Now im married and have a child... and listening to this while finishing my masters paper... Thank you for all the years Captain

God the series that started my obession with modded minecraft and minecraft in general is back and better than ever, Divine RPG has been my favourite mod since the original series started and it still is (I still go back to the 1.4.7 version sometimes) But all that being said I'm glad to see it back, cows and all

This made me so happy! I'm a little closer to Jardon in age (he's, like, 5 years older than me) so I remember coming home from high school and watching his stuff around 2012-2016 and this really takes me back.

Awesome to see this series back. Now we need a new Jerry's Tree to call home.

As a few recommendations: Create - It is an amazing technical mod that does not require and nee chunks, however, if the main focus is exportation, Create may not be amazing as it is more Base Building to Explore further. Quark + Quark Additions - A great mod duo that adds many small features that line up a new experience for a mod pack. From just quality of life features to the strange systems, it tends to make it in for the small things. Appleskin - just, knowing how much saturation you have and how much a food item gives you is a god send.

I love this omg. I have been following you since you first started Minecraft. you made the vast majority of my childhood and while I'm 23 now I still felt that same joy at seeing this episode that I would have when I was 10 or so.

This has me so excited, it brings me back to when I was in elementary and middle school just absolutely binge-watching modded minecraft videos, what a throwback! I'm gonna love this series!

I haven't watched one of your series in a long time but I can't resist the pull of another modded survival series since the first one held such a special place in my heart. I'll definitely be keeping up with this one!

First of all, your house looks great love the color combinations and the trapdoors especially. Secondly, hell yeah modded survival!

I’d suggest adding the Supplementaries mod. It adds a good chunk of new items that generally increases QoL. For example, it adds a new plant called flax, which can be harvested with string. It also has some cool things that work for aesthetic purposes.

It took me way too long to get into watching your videos, I remember reading about you when I was seven in the minecraft handbooks (I still have all four original copies) and finally realized I have the power to watch you months ago while thinking about those books. Thank you for doing all that you do!

Man, I'm so happy I stumbled across this series. Remember watching the og survival series and modded survival, it's what got me into minecraft - when I did get it 10 year old me was so sad I couldn't craft a slime sword, not relising what mods even were. Crazy how that was about 9 years ago now or something. Now I've got a job and am studying at Uni, watching this as I work!

This brings me back to middle school when I'd come home to an empty house because both my parents had to work and I'd eat dinner with the original survival series as my only companion. Now I'm a full adult with a 9-5 watching a new survival series as my peace and quiet.

I have been binge watching the old modded survival recently and was sad reaching the end but seeing this now just makes me so ecstatic

bro i remember actually being there binging the original modded survival about a year after it finished when i had barely even known anything about minecraft let alone modding and divinerpg ended up stuck in my mind for my entire life while most people now have never heard of it or anything else made by the same developer

Gunna immediately recommend adding any of the mods that allow you to swing weapons through grass, seeing as a few of the Divine RPG mobs are 1 block tall hahaha Believe the most popular is simply called "SwingThroughGrass" :)

For Suggestions: The Lumberjack mod, absolutely amazing for clearing away forests. Also just a great quality if life mod to have. Also The damage indicator mid is super helpful for knowing what mobs will smite you and which shall be smitten by you.

When RLCraft was a regular upload here (I know it moved to the second channel) I talked about how much the original Modded Survival meant to me. How I watched all of the original survival and the modded survival every single day when I could, despite arriving late to the party and long after both had concluded. I never made it to the end of the modded series because I lost my place and couldn't tell what was going on in the series anymore. And now here we are, 9 years later, playing such a series again, with some of the same mods. And man, am I happy to see Sparkles play such a game again. Thank you, Captain. This series is gonna be AWESOME!

DivineRPG? In current Minecraft RU-vid?! Now that mod is true Modded Minecraft nostalgia in its purest form. Whilst I would've preferred its spiritual sucessor, it definitely works as a good ol' throwback to your roots. FYI regarding DivineRPG: The previous dev team consisted of Xolova and a couple of others (that I can't remember rn), however it is currently being maintained by both Nicosaurus and Tslat/Scimiguy (current dev of AoA).Well, at least according to CurseForge.

I cannot tell you enough, how much I appreciate you going this again. Your modded survival series are by far my favorite thing on RU-vid. I hope I speak for everyone when I say, you could do a million of these, and we'd never get tired of it.

I like it when you talk so calmly like in the very beginning. It just helps to chill while watching with interest without feeling overwhelmed

Honestly I love the cherry house, you might want to put cheery trap doors on the inside for a velvet curtain type design. Also I recommend caged mobs and the create mod.

Nice, another main channel series, love the revival of old times. Also, actually I really love the house! You're right about light wood of cypress and birch being contrasted nicely with cherry, and those doors and trapdoors are just ideal for this build! The only thing I would change in the overall design of the starter house is the log framing of the roof, it looks kinda weird. But either way, actually hype to see you build more in this series, it's actually super nice seeing someone who's not a builder who focuses most of their channel on that take some time designing builds, feels very authentic and interesting watching non "professional" come up with things. Also, as for the mods to add, Quark is very good with QoL stuff, and it's easily customizable so you can disable any stuff you think would clash. Just make sure to check the 1.16 version of features on the site.
