The horror in the eyes of the older brother seeing his younger brother struggling against the rushing waters was shocking. I was praying that the father would get hold of him before it's too late, and he did. I saw a video about a kid slipping down the side of the mountain because he stepped on loose gravel. The older brohter had to rescue him, car him in his arms while he bled, or holding him up as he tried to keep up with the rest of the family. My hearth aches for these pastoralists in the Zagros Mountains that are as breathtaking as they are dangerous. God bless these hardworking, beautiful, loving people.
