Some truth bombs, but still not the worst idea to keep it secret from most people. People hear that and panic would ensue, different ideas and concepts for how to stop it clashing instead of helping, infighting, etc.

@@chrisgodfrey1880 "most people" shouldn't have known initially to avoid mass panic and chaos but they definitely could have brought in more help, even Doom criticized Reed about this. Maybe the results would have been the same but new ideas and concepts generated from more people with the intellect and knowledge to assists, which ironically the illuminati started doing late in the game by bringing in Amadeus Cho and Hank Pym, would have been helpful. Especially when it became apparent that the illuminati hit a wall.

Adam Brashear's most powerful quality: His words. Able to move us. Rob. The Rob Corps. All of us. Makes sense Adam would take that stance, though. He has lived his WHOLE LIFE having people "more qualified than" him telling him what was best for him and the public. They told him to go away "for the greater good". Love Blue Marvel.

You know why Thanos won in infinity war? Sacrifice. Thanos was willing to do it, the Avengers, mostly Cap, was unable to do it and it cost them everything. If Vision was allowed to give up his life, Thanos loses.

"Your values shouldn't change based on circumstance" Actually your values should change if it's not working and it's causing more harm than good. Take Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza series for example. Guy is tough, but usually lets his opponents live. That comes back to bite him at least three times and even mentions this in the fifth game.
