Well guys, I'm still stuck here in Barb's Basement. My canned food is running low and my oxygen levels are depleted, starting to feel a little light headed. Luckily for me, I have endless amounts of Star Wars Legends comics to read through. This week, I continued reading about the One Sith and Cade Skywalker in issue numero 2 of Star Wars Legacy.
The hidden Sith are not so hidden anymore, there was an aggressive takeover of the Empire and Roan Fel has been ousted. The Jedi are scattered and the Galactic Alliance is no more, Sith are now in control baybeeee. Please, feel free to like and subscribe or whatever it is that the kids do these days.

I've just finished this comic series, i absolutely love it. Everything imo was perfect. Shocking and thrilling. Well done on the video.

Thanks man! It’s always by far been my favorite comic series of the old EU. I really enjoy the interesting twist on the old legion Sith idea. The cult like following of Kraft and undying loyalty breeder by generations of indoctrination, really interest me. The One Sith act as a polar opposite to the Sith, they raise their ranks from birth or young age to solely believe in their ideology. I get that the series can be edgy and over the top but I still come back to it for comfort, like Mac n Cheese or buttered toast.

@@BarbsBasement Thats what made it also so believeable and good! I like the Rule of Two stuff aswell but this was really really good, if not better. The newest SW stuff is imo, to throw up about, though I did like the single comic about Benicio Del Toro's character. Legacy though was like watching a really good tv seires, but just as a comic series. Close relationships with the characters etc. Do you know which comic series came before legacy? Is it the crimson empire series? I never did read those but i really want to.

The new EU has been a bit of a let down, while bummed about old canon being thrown out, I was still excited about what may come. So far most of it has been a little bland. Some stand outs have been Vader and I even enjoy the Rise of Kylo Ren even though it basically re-wrote what happened to Luke’s Jedi in episode 8. There are a few comics that ran before Legacy, definitely check out Dark Times and even Invasion. Invasion was cut tragically short so the books could set up more, leaving with us with regret for what may have come. I would have loved to have seen more visual representation of the Vong.

I would have preferred if they had just done a huge time jump and spoke of Luke, Leia and Han as almost mythic figures. I absolutely loved the inclusion of all of the Vong War mythos into the comics. I feel like the backlash to the Vong just scared most authors away from even touching them again.

This was the penultimate Star Wars story not set around the 6 movies and not counting The High Republic. The last being The Star Wars '74 which was always meant to be legends. I think Dave Filoni took a couple of ideas for his Clone such as the enslavement of the Mon Calamari into camps and the planet Dac's Shipyard "Saturn Ring" used for a different planet. I think Krayt was smart to deny Inquisitors with the One Sith logic.

ogrebattlewarsong it’s one of those things where you always read it differently in your head and then when someone else says it, it sounds odd.

Cade is a grade-A badass. I don’t think Star Wars has seen a protagonist like him before or ever since Legacy. Ostrander is easily the best Star Wars comic writer we’ve seen in the franchise’s history so far.

I think one of the most common critiques of his work is that he can be a bit of an edge lord. I can totally see that but I still don't care. There are parts of Legacy that are a bit cheesy or over the top but I love it all the same. His work on the Republic comics and Legacy are truly iconic. Jan Duursema's work on Legacy is beyond iconic. I still feel like no art from any of the current comics even comes close to her work. The detail of each issues is why Star Wars is perfect for the comicbook medium.
