Hello from Israel...i just sent a documentary of yours to my dad wich grew up in the Catskills and he was so happy to feel nature again through your eyes. My mom passed away two months ago and they were together for 64 years...when they first dated he brought mom to the mountains and we have lots of pictures from that time. Kyle it’s so good to see Old Blue back and sounding so good. Yes, at 76 i know all about the cycles of life and it’s good you’ve learned so young is a good thing . The game of life is well documented in your vlogs and as you age and look back you’ll be so happy you did them all and in time if you have children they will marvel at how your life has been documented along with you beautiful lady, Alli. Gratitude is something we all need to have in life. Harper is such a sweet adventurous girl. You and Ally did a good thing when you saved her. I love seeing her follow you all around. I had a cat that loved to walk around the block with me when I took my sweet dog Bella for a walk.. I miss her now she is not with me but I have Lilly Rose to keep me company. OMG!! You definitely had a bad allergic reaction to something at that rental! Glad it was temporary, but you still should get checked out by an allergist and/or dermatologist.
Hey Kyle. So great this one. Next time you'll have an allergic reaction, you guys should have an "avocado" tree at home. I use for all kind of things. But the magic comes from the leaves. I simply make a strong tea with them, add some honey, because is bitter, and have a bit everyday. It's amazing for skin rashes, helps to boost your imune system. And is great to regulate so many other things in our body. Take care and thank you for another amazing story telling video.

Kyle, you had a massive allergy. When you are at the point of swelling in the mouth, this is a turning concerning point and you should have rushed to a doctor (no they are not all horrible….) and a shot later you will have felt way better with rush vanishing. But you also needed a reset and a rest, a slowing down in your dense physical activities. So, maybe sleeping 2/3 days was not a bad outcome. (You were physically exhausted-> your immune system shut off-> you got what was around, a bad virus probably, and an allergy) Sleeping and resting restore your immunity. Don t miss it ! You are 30 now, in the blink of an eye you will be 40 and the story will be different…. Take care of yourself (saying that as a mother, and a doctor)

Those hives looked like shingles - which come from stress and anything that puts your body on ‘alert’ (like mold, or cleaning up after mice lol). Shingles will make you feel really sick and are pretty painful - not sure if that’s what that was but sure had that ‘look’. So glad you’re feeling better! And SO great to see your latest on old blue.

Glad to see Old Blue back in time for the fall colors and thank your mom for giving me a heads up on the basil! It is suppose to get cold next week. We've filled every single hole with that insulation foam or steal wool in areas we cannot use the foam and we have no more mice in our cabin. Hope that helps.

Hey Kyle. Looks like you had a super allergic reaction to something, obvs. My son, who is the same age as you, so not a little kid, had the exact same welts and eye swelling as you. He had an allergic reaction to the laundry detergent I was using when he came to visit. It was an “all natural” detergent so I thought he’d be ok with it. That may be what happened to you. Just in case this ever happens again, please go to the ER. Your throat could start closing up next time, if you have the unfortunate chance this happens again. Looks like you needed an injection of epinephrine. Hope you are feeling better now. Thanks for the video. Enjoyed it very much!

Hives were a way, a warning from your body to stop all the rushing around, busyness and being super active. Too busy equals too stressed equals too distracted from what is real, & what brings true focus on what really matters. Leaves you running on "empty" with no food for the soul. Times of doing "nothing", just relaxing, are fuel that keeps us centered and focused on all the things that make life worth getting up in the morning.
Life’s cycles go like that I have found. The past year has held some big challenges for me too but still there are days of joy, beauty, and blessings scattered in there. I’m getting excited for autumn, already seeing late summer/early fall signs here in Kentucky. Harper is getting so big! Thanks for sharing your beautiful area with us. Hi guys. Everything is looking great. I have a cottage...and what i do for moisture is use aluminum disposable pans..and fill with charcoal..put under anything upholstered..couches.chairs beds etx. Also what Ally was doing with dryer sheets helps with critters as well as keeping everything fresh. Put between couch cushions.pillows. etx there are also moisture bags you can get at hardware store to hang in open spots..... you both are amazing and i love watching both your channels.... Robbyn.
