It's super clear that R.S is eager to return back to Steven Universe and continue the story from where Future left off at. And I can't imagine CN not passing on the chance of doing it, they can put it on MAX and give it the same maturity like they did with Adventure Time.
@@Anna-hy4sb I mean, Pink Diamond is technically using pink in substitute for magenta. But since there aren't magenta diamonds, it had to be pink or purple; they chose pink. Cyan was easier, since English speakers just think of cyan as blue.
If they trully get to make an adult show I think a fun gag would be to let Yellowtail talk normal just to reveal hes been swearing like the sailor he is this whole time.
I think Steven loosing the Pink Jacket is symbolic. He no longer identifies himself with the “Pink Diamond” label and has found a way to become his own person outside of where he comes from

YES! Origin of gems, and show a species or group of creators above even the diamonds. And/or see the ramifications of the diamond authority's colonizations (explore planets that want revenge, or planets that were colonized but some survived. Maybe a coalition of planets that have been built up to oppose the diamonds' expansions?)
I would also love a Lars of the stars spin off series! Maybe origins of each off color gems, especially when we had a storyboard of Rhodonite’s story between Pearl and Ruby!

I can see a return to the series where it starts right where we left off, having the pebble fall out of the glove compartment. Steven, being too far from turning back and dropping him off, he decides to take him along on his self discovery, telling it a bunch of unseen moments throughout the show. And then having the last episode being a reunion with the gems (leading to this artwork)

The Gravity Falls franchise has also been stirring a lot recently, you should make a video about it possibly returning next. I would also like to see a video about how you would write a Gravity Falls Amphibia Owl House crossover.
I think the difference there is that Alex accomplished most of what he wanted with the series. Its been long enough that I could imagine if Alex called up Disney they'd be game for a Gravity Falls mini series, but I think the industry has changed too much. Especially since he's been trying to get another animated series off the ground since the show ended..and who knows if that's still happening

I pray every day for a spin-off about the gem war. That could be amazing, especially as an adult show. Imagine it shows us the war or at least the final portion of the war with all the context and revelations of the original shows
I was literally thinking about the dichotomy of Pink and Rose in the war today! I was thinking about how she would navigate the challenges of playing both roles while also leading a rebellion, because someway, somehow, only Pearl knew what she was doing. None of the crystal gems knew she was Pink Diamond, nor did any of the homeworld gems know she was Rose Quartz.
Seeing the white women try to write a storyline around war would be hilarious. They ain't got the chops to pull it off successfully and it'd just turn into senseless fluff with a "surprise revelation" happening at the end that had no build up

Honestly I love the idea of Steven getting older, though for me I think one topic I’d love to see explored is Steven struggling in a world he’s never really been a part of. Besides the 20 people in beach city Steven has never really had many interactions with humans, we see in future him struggling socially with Connie’s friends. Our largely neurodivergent fandom can definitely relate to Steven to that extent, so seeing him struggling with that would be amazing. I’d also love a spin off focusing on the diamonds, I’d love to see Pink being the diamond that cared about life, the diamond that created the pebbles and bottled up her emotions after hurting her Pearl, I know it’s not to popular to love Pink/Rose but I genuinely do, so I’m even excited to hear your thoughts on her, and to see if you’ve thought of all the details that I have.
ugggg i would definitely skip it if it were to be more Connie focused....such a bland character. Now, something about the diamonds would surely be welcomed. They haven't exactly been given much of a chance to shine since they actually came into frame in the story beyond an unknown threat.

Now as for the Diamonds, yeah they got cut short and it sucks, though I get why and I sure as hell wouldn’t change that just for a longer diamond days arc. But yeah I’d love to see Pink especially.

Ideas I think would be cool for Steven universe stuff. 1. A spin off series staring either Connie, Lars, or lapis/peridot and bismuth. 2. A arc about Steven discovering other gem hybrid humans like him. 3. A series about future Steven and perhaps him having a child. 4. A new main character perhaps. 5. Anything I’m desperate

If they were to renew SU maybe it could be about Adult Steven. Or other things like ancient times before Steven was born or maybe Lars Of The Stars, about Lars and Off Color gems. Pretty sure Steven is going to be around 24 if they're basing the timeframe off of the real world. Steven was 13 when the series premiered in 2013 so assuming his birthday is in 2000.
I’m going to be honest, something I’d really like to see from the Steven Universe is a “Tales from Era 1 and 2” look at the many facets of the Gem Empire. Break away from Steven’s perspective. Yes I know I’m asking for a prequel. Some normal dysfunctional family days for the Diamonds. Rhodonite falling in love despite rejuvenation after rejuvenation. One of the early colonizers of a completely different planet has a “Rose falls in love with Earth” montage and tries to stop the colony, but fails because she’s not a Diamond. Era 1 Peridots being racish towards Era 2 Peridots. A day in the life of an elite, a worker, a Pebble, a wall. A nearly perfect fusion that hid her second Gem and tried to make it as a higher class. Maybe she made it, maybe they were harvested. Go darker with it, you know?
I do hope we get a new Steven universe show because I absolutely love SU, it’s one of my favorite animated comfort shows and it would make me so happy if we get to to see the gang again.

I actually went to the fire side chat event and it was really nice!! It was cool to learn a lot of things, but I mainly learned how much collaboration, communication and team work is important with animation and big projects like this. At the end of the Q&A rebecca sang love like you and it was sweet. Made me teared up a bit. I also got the posters too!! Rebecca drew Garnet and Ian drew K.O on my posters :D
I don’t know if jasper would do that, Steven’s more than proven his strength, shattering them and bringing them back. If jasper were to lead a rebellion I doubt it would be centered around Steven, in fact I think they’d try to get Steven on their side due to his influence and capability.
I've always wanted a Lars and the Off Colours spin off tbh.. feel like Steven's story could be considered finished now. Yes, there would be ways to make one... but personally, I feel like other characters in the show would be more interesting to follow

I would love another Steven Universe movie, except it's them all sitting at therapy and just having a session. Talking about their experiences and Greg finally realizing "I fused with my wife, through my son... I got to see Rose one more time, hold her, while we watched Steven do his thing to make sure Pearl woke up." I'd love that..
Don’t be mad cause this kinda goes against everything established but how cool would it be if we did get a reboot and, the aftermath of Steven’s therapy, he learns to control his negative emotions and it gives him the ability to transform willingly into his corrupted form but on a small scale. Ik that’s not how it works but dude that’d be so dope
Honestly like what Brotherhood did for Full Metal Alchemist, I for one would actually prefer a Steven Universe Reboot, one that could fix the flaws that the original had, like make it less focused on Steven's perspective so that we can see some characters getting their own solo episodes(much like what Adventure Time did in their later seasons where they focused some episodes on characters other than Finn & Jake to the point where they were not even featured in said episodes at all), and since the Original series had it's plug pulled after season 5 the finale ended up feeling too rushed, a reboot could help stretch out the story in more episodes and help us explore Gem History & Culture in ways that the Original series couldn't, plus a reboot could improve upon certain characters(along with their traits) & their relationships with others, like have it where Spinel was never abandoned & instead became a Crystal Gem and has sort of a Sister-like relationship with both CG Pearl & Pink Pearl/Volleyball(just to give an example), I think a Reboot could do more for Steven Universe than a continuation could ever do, but that's my opinion.
I feel like at this point, the main thing stopping a new SU miniseries/spinoff being greenlit is that animation greenlights are currently at a total standstill, and I fear it's most likely gonna remain that way until the Animation Guild gets a deal signed.

Pearl and Greg being a thing possibly makes me happy. I don't think Pearl is just carrying him to be nice, I think it may be a hint that their friendship has strengthened or even blossomed into something more. Also STEVONNIE HAD BETTER FINALLY GET MARRIED, FFS.
7:20 he doesn't age slowly. His appearance depends on his mental state and maturity. If he had mastered his powers he can appear whatever age he wants at will.

Well if Miss sugar is going to make a new Steven universe cartoon perhaps she should also make a descendant of Steven! In fact remember the episode when Stephen found the video tape of his mom talking to a girl named Nora he was really curious about it but then he already knew that if rose quartz had a boy she would name him Steven and if she had a girl she would name her Nora! So I think Steven universe should have a daughter named Nora universe who has the beauty of her mother Connie but like her father she would have the powers of the gem so she may not have his gym but she could still use the shield the bubbles and healing powers as well just like her father! And perhaps the voice of Nora universe should be Idina Menzel! Should make a perfect talking and singing voice for Nora!❤

The Greg thing could just be a fun quirky thing, like Greg asking if Pearl could lend him a hand with the heavy cooler he's carrying and she just picks him in entirely instead of just taking the cooler.
Oh gosh no…….Ok I’m absolutely down for more Steven universe but I definitely don’t want an adult Steven universe show. I hope none if this sounds childish but I was scared to even admit that I even liked Steven universe because the internet made it out to be so adult what am I supposed to do if it actually becomes adult…… the last think I want is to hear peridot or any other character swear or drink alcohol possibly implied in this artwork. I’m sensitive and am repulsed by many adult things I’m 17. I don’t want something I love to have vulgar stuff in it because I use cartoons to escape from the vulgar things of life. Steven universe was already not perfect in that aspect so it was stressful enough to admit I liked it

That being said, i wouldn't know what the story narrative could be besides snake people or the diamond society beyond homeworld. I need more Steven universe. I need more rose quartz. I too grew up in an abusive home, abused people because i didn’t know any better because of how I was raised. Realized I needed to escape to be true to myself, ran away. Left my bff at the time and ruined our friendship. Redesigned myself, got married to a rocker boy. And now like Steven I suffer from PTSD and every minor little issue is treated like a life or death scenario. I would love to see Steven overcoming the trauma and finally unpacking everything with his mom who is very much still alive.

I sure hope Steven and Connie get married in this upcoming project by Rebecca Sugar and I also hope we hear an announcement about the OK KO spinoff/sequel series, KO's Adult Chronicles by Ian Jones-Quartey.
