Totally crying when Daehan said "Dad hold on, we are here for you" and even more when Minguk just woke up in the bike cart and said "Dad, I am alright.." Where else can we find 3 or 4 year-old kids like them who are very considerate and supportive towards their parents? :')

When ilkook compared his life in the cycling race i cried bucket of tears; this man is so inspirational. He was surpassed by many but even so he didn't give up. I actually respect him for his principles in life. I hope daehan, minguk, manse will be like their dad in the future. 💖

I teared up when he finished the race, you could tell that even completing it meant a lot to him because he did it with his boys, which honestly is such a huge achievement because it’s difficult to do it just by yourself but he did it with one young child for each part, I’m so proud of the Song appa and the triplets. 대한 민국 만세 화이팅!!

Started crying when Ilkook started shedding tears after completing. I'm sure the triplets will look back at this episode when they are adults and have kids of their own and will definitely cry watching their dad and what he did to make beautiful memories with them. I love how the kids are aware of the fact that their dad is doing something tiring and tough and cheer their dad by saying "Go, dad" every once in a while. Like mingkuk woke up and started cheering his dad. It's just so sweet. Growing up i didn't have a close relationship with my dad so it's really heartwarming to see those three bonding so well with their dad. I think the kids are like that only because their dad is always so vocal about his appreciation towards their tiny gestures . Respect and love is a two way street

Moral lesson: no matter what position you are in. In your childrens eyes, you will always be the # 1. I cried a lot in this episode. I even screeshot Ilkook scene where he said that many people surpassed him and then i posted it on my IG. Thanks for the lesson, appa ilkook! Ill never forget what this episode taught me.

A lot of people here praise daehan and minguk but manse also deserve the recognition, he was constantly saying "go, dad" and when he cried because he thought he's dad was drowning was so cute and the way he held his dad's hand after seeing him come back from the water. Rewatching this after the Song appa and triplet's guesting on You Quiz on the Block hits different. I cried the whole triathlon lol At 42:19 I'm amazed that he has this mindset. It's hard to implement in life. He mentioned in YQOTB he isn't getting any offers and still push thru by auditioning instead. He kept in mind that the priority is his wife, children and then work. Such a rare breed. ❤

last month i saw ilkook on stage for the musical 42nd broadway street. He’s really a champion all round. His vibrancy and zeal for life were so evident just from that performance and rewatching this again reminded me of how he’s always been so persistent and resilient

Watching this at work before my shift ends and I am crying so hard on my desk. My co-workers are staring at me and I did not say a word but only soaked my keyboaed with tears. 😿 Now I am reminded about my father. He never gave me something to remind of because of his vices. He always put himself first before us but still, I am grateful for him for bringing me into this world. I am just hoping that my children (soon) will have a great father I have never had but again still thankful for him.

When Ilkook was done with the swim race, I cried. When he finished the cycling race, I cried. And finally, when he completed the marathon, I cried again. In short, I cried a lot in this episode. Probably one of the most memorable moments in Ilkook's life. This is so touching and inspiring. Thank you.
