One of the best movie games made along with Spider-Man 2. Good freaking times.

I remember seeing the gate open up and all them charging and I was afraid I was going to have to fight them ALL at once. I was like "OOOOH CRAP" as they got closer.

The only problem with this game is that it was too short :(

I remember back when I played this on the Gamecube there was a glitch where if you held down a charge attack before a cutscene started the fire effects would show up in the cutscene. I would always charge up Gimli's Wrath of Moria so I could watch him fighting off leagues of orcs with a flaming battleaxe.

Of they made the game now, you would have to buy gandalf's path, the palantir missions, and maybe a few Aragon missions as dlc, SMH lol

I used to stand right at the entrance and hack away and then get straight to perfect mode. Great times :-).

I used to play this all the time but I had the PC version. I loved playing this game.

i love however when you use the cheats at the end to go back and play as all the wrong characters. because the cutscenes will use those characters instead now xD.

This is was unbelievably hard and harsh with it's checkpoints... still, no other game could simulate the epicness of the battle. simply great !

I remembered this was one of the hard levels along with Shelob's lair. Pelenor fields, Paths of the Dead also because you had to keep Eowyn alive and beat the clock.

When i first played the black gate level I thought the troll aragorn fights in the movie was going to bed towards the end of the level but we got the nazgul i thought it was the troll was going be after the nazgul

This level is extremely hard when playing as one of the hobbits; I managed to beat it playing as Sam, but I had to rely on my allies to beat the Nazgul. Poison does almost nothing against them!

I imagine seeing this but in Mount in Blade at the top of my castle.

I actually prefer the way this one looks to the film version. It looks like it'd be smarter and easier to hold out on a vantage point like this

With this game I have so many memories, I actually played it when I'm 10 always with my cousin day and night, this cousin unfortunately passed away, that's 14 years ago, after seeing about the game I remember first about my past days again just to realize this the best days ever, I wish I cam travel back and repeat it, one of the amazing games, just wanted to buy a GameCube for play it again but I'm afraid it will worse so better I keep the amazing memory on it

& so it goes ... fellowship < 2 towers < rotk, game-wise. No not sam-wise. Lol. Seriously though, this game took the 2 towers engine & made it better. Also check out 3rd age for this gen. Pretty cool rpg. War in the north & shadow if mordor are solid games 2day. Worth noting, do as the uploader shows & dont try to melee tbe nazgul, youll lose. Lastly if one of the fellowship starts getting killed, simply standing near them will heal them. Took me awhile to figure that out. Even though its right on the mission tips in the pause menu. Kind of. Theres 3 checkpoints here so dont despair!

I like how the Easterlings like Ninja jump back up when theyre knocked down

try running to your game companions, legolas, gandalf, and gimli when their energy bars start decreasing that'll save you time from killing two mini bosses

This was such an awesome game. All the good memories :) I think instead of the palantir levels they should've done the Last Alliance battle as a bonus. You're on the slopes of Mount Doom, even MORE enemies are coming at you from all sides (including trolls and the occasional Nazgul), and you have to kill a huge number or enemies like 100-150. And then you fight Sauron :D
