actually frank couldve been smarter about it too like i don't know what s in these tanks. why would I even want to be near or touch the tanks. better close up the lid again. go back up stairs and pretend nothing ever happened.
FYI this is the moment Frank and Freddy basically died. It's why the cadaver ignores them and goes after Burt alone. They were already zombies by the time they woke up, it just took longer for them to go full zombification
They weren’t zombies, not yet. The gas is lethal in high amounts just like any chemical but it’s restorative properties kick in the moment it kills the subject. They were dying all through the movie. When they finally did die, they came back as full zombies.
@@TheCorrodedMan They were dead the whole time. It's why their blood was pooling in their backs, and their bodies were going through rigor mortis. The brain continued to function for several hours before gradually shutting down.
+christor You know this is just a movie right? Why not see how the real Army Corps of Engineer works. And one example would be making good structural bridges.
The red flag is not about quality. Anything labeled as a military property should be handled with care knowing what it might contain. But someone were not disciplines enough to put in a call contact instead of biohazzard sign.
I remember watching this with my dad when I was little, I got so scared I had nightmares for weeks. One of the movies that started my love for zombies.
did you ever realize that the entire zombie trope is part of a psychological operation to dehumanize those suffering from malnutrition and disease? That is why the Depart of Homeland Security does zombie drills, where they train soldiers to mow down waves of 'zombies' played by civilian actors. The zombie movie craze is not as innocent or grassroots as it seems. It is predictive programming.
"Of course these things won't leak! They were made by the US Army! Core of engineers!" *Slaps Barrel and it bursts open and begins to leak" We'll be right back!
Best was that modern horror about shoping mool with characters like from left 4 dead. It was my dream as i kid to watch film like that. Of course old zombies movies are to preety cool but dawn of the dead 2004 was that what i expect from zombie movie.
This, to me, is the ultimate zombie movie. It has everything you could ever want in one. This beginning is a huge part of the charm. The setup and background is amazing. Perfect feeling and energy for a great Halloween time movie
How wrong he was, how dead he'll be, just wait a bit, and then you'll see. He slapped the can, it sprayed him, man! His buddy, too, Will soon turn blue. They have no time, to take a breath, Because they're facing certain death. They'll become zombies, then, you'll see, and then they'll come for you and me!
At one point I wanted to do an updated story version of this movie. After Frank's line about the barrels being built by the Army Corps of Engineers, Freddy would ask if that the same Corp that built the Katrina levees. After a beat they would both quickly step back and decide to go upstairs, but Freddy would trip and bang his head on the barrel when he goes to turn off the light and close the lid so Burt wouldn't know they were down there.
@@joeswanson733 look to be honest right now all the countries quality became china tier even German products right now are kind of flaky, maybe if the war dont keep going and there is not a new "virus" things can go back to normal
The basement looks a mess. Nobody has cleaned up down there in a very long time. Clearly they weren't regularly moving items in and out of the space. Yet he had a roll of paper towels and glass cleaner handy.
The horrible part about this was the moment they inhaled that gas they was already dead before they hit the floor, and they didn't even realized they died, after the two woke up their organs was already shut down plus their body temperature has been reduced to room temperature, I think that was the disturbing part about this, they been walking & talking not realizing they are the *living dead*😲.
It's interesting to think, that when they're hit with the gas, thinking they've survived the ordeal. The gas killed them and revived them shortly afterwards believing they were still alive when in fact they were zombies through the whole movie.
I think funny part in this clip is when Frank said these things were made by the ARMY Corps of Engineers. Hahaha, I know combat engineers with better welds than those over paid pricks. 😂😂😂😂
*Frank breaks open zombie container then uncontrollably and intensely coughs with Freddy* Burt: Be a man, Frank. Be a man. *Burt deeply breaths in the noxious fumes while standing proudly*
to be faire these containers were improvised after the real incident they were made quick to take the zombies and chemical away from the hospital and got shiped to the wrong place and stayed there for 14 years without repair..that welding needed some love lol..no wonder the army tasked a general full time to look for them for 14 years
The scariest part of this clip is him using a whole roll of paper towels to clean a sheet of glass that couldn't have been bigger than a roll of paper towels.
If you think about it: the Trioxin Zombies are a combination of biohazards and supernatural magic properties, being the cause for reanimating the dead and making them infectious
Not gonna lie, i often though how creepy it would be if the gas/chemical that was used in the movie to re-animate the dead and the only way to put them down for good was to burn the body to ashes.
They should've made the barrel with stainless steel. Judging from the sound that it made when frank hit it I'd guess it was made of either aluminum or galvanized steel. Well talk about cutting budget at the expense of an apocalypse that's the government for ya
Phil Swift *looking at tank* : Now lets see if its gonna leak! Jontron: *notices they're made by the U.S. Army, corps of engineers* : I think it's gonna leak, it's fair to say it's gonna leak.
