*No it's not a bug on my hand, it was a bit of fluff from my micro fibre cloth I had to kep using to clean the screen on this thing* Hey folks, welcome back to another Cheapo Phone Review! @SMOOREZ Hey i have a suggestion, if you want to test battery capacity on cheap phones you can use accubattery. It can check your battery capacity in mah and your battery health in general. It's available on the Play Store.
If you can go into Engineering Mode/Telephony/BandMode you can see what bands the phone is capable of. If you have a true "world phone" you can sometimes add and remove bands although I haven't been able to do that for ages.
@@radiden just for the sake of curiosity, also sometimes you have no choice other then these phone, Since these typa phone is an awesome choice for a burner phone
@@firesnake6311 I'd say any used old flagship/midrange phone is a better burner personally, since they won't lie about the specs and will support more cellular network configurations, and usually can have a custom rom put on them to bring them up to date
Looks surprisingly close to an actual Samsung galaxy A51 that I had (just with less cameras and no punchhole, of course), I wonder if any rando on the street could tell if it was a Samsung or not if rip that XGODY branding.
A lot of phones look like a51, i still use a51 first gen, just swapped the battery and headphone jack for new one, and it's still perfectly fine in daily use (tho i use it to call/text and read pdfs mostly). My sister got herself xiaomi (new one, note 10s or sth) and when i lie down these 2 phones right next to each other, front up, i can barley tell which one is mine lol. It genuine often happens that we take each others phones by mistake. Also ye, this xgody is very similar to a51 in terms of its visual design. It even rips off a51 back design. It's almost the same, just inverted. To be fair many brands copy samsung phone design. cuz they are simply looking good alright.
I think every phone should come with earphones/buds a headphone adapter and the wire and block for fast charging.. Especially with 1000$+ phones nowadays
resistive touchscreens can have multi touch, ashens did a video on a bootleg tablet forever ago that had it, it just gets confused when your fingers get too close to eachother
With this one, you forgot to turn on enhanced 4g mode, it would've improved communications (so it claimed), couldn't have hurt to turn that on, maby it did improve the connection :p
You might as well buy a Motorola / Lenovo phone, or a Samsung Galaxy A-Series. Much better specs for the same price as this. Or buy a used flagship that's 3-4 years old, the performance will still be much better than modern cheap phones.
About the Phone calls, it could be that you have 4G calls enabaled, and then, when you have poor connection, it could be, that you can not call out or be called
Hello SMOOREZ I just saw a video for a Nokia 5710 express audio with built in headphones. It would be a great phone to do a review on if you can find one plus a good one for your collection.
Do you guys think that xgody is actually the welcome phone manufacturers, and half the phones they make as xgody and the other half as the welcome phones? And only have to change the specs in the secret phone app. Unless xgody is separate and just buys from those manufacturers but doesn't actually own the factories, they just want to resell with the real specs.
The manufacturer of welcome phones is KST Microhand Inc. A Chinese company that makes a lot of welcome phones and they used to scam people except for xgody
I had a Welcome phone once and threw it away pretty quick!! They are garbage and they make no attempts to hide that either. Not only are the cameras terrible, they put no effort whatsoever into making you feel at all confident you didn't waste $200 on a worthless piece of junk!
Must admit, a hot air station and de-soldering would look a bit more professional, and allows the reuse of the heat shield. The only part of the vids I skip through, is where you are explaining to people that they can ckip through parts of the vid, thought you might enjoy the irony.
I usually run youtube using adblock browser on my phones and it runs without an issue. The app might be nice but the adds are just beyond annoying. I rather just whitelist certain channels to allow the creator to get some revenue, but overall i prefer to give youtube as little as possible. Performance wise there is no difference if i run it in browser or app.
MT6737, not bad. That's the most shittiest SoC that support 4G Now the overused MT6580 can finally rest in peace Overall it's certainly better than your average welcome phone, just tad bit slower
I've thought about doing that with some phones but I always like to present the stock experience from these devices. Maybe I might add it later down the track.
ok good screen and camera but apart from that that's just a welcome device as you said. to me it looks like a rip-off from samsung low/mid smartphones (like a50/51 or a30s or something), pretty low tho so 4/10 not good enough.
Weird that GTA 3 lagged. I had a Galaxy J7 with a Mali-T720 MP2 and it ran GTA San Andreas fine, as well as Bully and COD mobile. You'd think that having one less core would mean slightly above half the performance at least.
You know company is so bad when they have to pay themselves to try to move the watermark. That or they don't want people to steal their very very shit ideas.
Fun fact: you can recognise the megapixel of camera by shining it and depends on color means this muc megapixel is the camera example If you shine a camera and the color is purple It means it's a 5 MP camera idk about the others only know the 5 MP one
94 db is not “really quiet”. Also, nobody realistically listens to music through a phone because the speakers are small and crappy anyway. You would use an external wired or Bluetooth speaker or headphones 🎧. Phone speakers don’t need to go anywhere above 80 db in the real world. Like, how often are you going to put your phone somewhere with music playing, and just listen to it through the phone without headphones or otherwise a big Bluetooth speaker that has good bass? There are other things phone manufacturers should focus on, like the frequency range of the speakers, rather than how loud it gets.
