This came out in 1958. In between evil step Dad's it was just Mom, and I in the 1970s. She would let me stay up late and watch creature feature at 12am Sat nights. We would watch these old monster movies . On Halloween she'd let me stay up most of the night, and we would watch the Halloween late night monster movies while going through Halloween candy. Sunday's at 2pm was the science fiction theater. There was only rabbit ears network stations back then. 5 channels in the 70s . Simple times. RIP Mom. I'm watching this movie for you.
@@jelsner5077 thank you 😁. Those were great times growing up at the beach in North Florida. She also collected comic books and, got me started by giving me her 1950s thru 1960s Marvel, and DC comics. Along with Tales from Crypt, The Vault of Horror, Eerie, and Creepy comics. Then I used my lawnmower money to buy the 1970s thru 1990s Marvel, DC , and horror comics .Good times gone by with Mom.
@@ScoutsOut83 My mom did little things to make each of her seven children feel special. She too allowed me to stay up late sometimes to watch old Hollywood movies with her. (I usually fell asleep well before the movie ended). She died of cancer when I was sixteen. I miss her as well.
@@jelsner5077 Mom was the very 1st female deputy of St Augustine, FL and a civil air patrol pilot in the 1970s ,and she was the coolest nerd to have for a mom. Take care. 😁
Great story. I was born in 1964 but spent the 70s with my brother and my mom at the drive-in all the time watching horror movies, etc.… Great memories I will watch this for my mom today too❤
Check the facial slap at 1.07.00 - he catches his face twice!! The forehand and the backhand in the same ‘get yourself together you fool’ kind of slap🤣😳. I watched it 25 times - it’s hilarious. Watch his reaction as he’s slapped and then in 0.5seconds he gets a tiny reaction in and then he’s grabbed by the shoulders!! ABSOLUTE GOLD
Wow..i love those old horror movies...can you show us Dracula movies with christoher lee ? (Against Peter Cushing, of course) IT would be so great..thank you
Love to see old Hammer House Horror movies especially the Dracula movies with Christopher Lee, RU-vid unfortunately will not allow it to happen, copyright and all that red tape bullshit!
I love the Hammer films, Cushing, and Chris Lee made the production company man Lee practically did it himself. I'm 50 and I love the old movies, especially the horror movies and I love the Grateful Dead music and some metal
My Mum worked with a bloke who travelled down to Whitstable and went to the Tea Room Cushing went to for lunch every day.He nervously introduced himself, and was given two hours of the great man's time. The owners then took some photos of them together(which I enviously looked at somewhere later). This wonderful man felt a huge affection and gratitude to his many fans, and was clearly happy to give them his time(and tea and cake!).
Estimated budget £65k (£1.9m) Truly remarkable/timeless cinema doesn’t have to cost the earth. Pinewood studios was really close to where I grew up too. Really enjoyed this. Thanks
You can't beat Hammer Horror, fun fact, the actor who played Dr Hans, Francis Matthews voiced the character Captain Scarlet in the Gerry Anderson series
Extraordinary movie of the genre classic horror with the out standing performance of the great actor and teacher of all times the british 🇬🇧 Peter Cushing and the participación from a great cast to develop and complete about of the baron Víctor Von Frankenstein a movie exquisitez and well done to the delight of the viewer highly recomended to see and enjoy It from beginning to end😊
Does anyone have a comment on the placement of the caduceus on that man's arm? I am trying to understand its symbolism or relevance at the time placed?
I originally bought this movie years ago in a discount bin. Great movie. I love Peter Cushing, so elegant, handsome, and in real life- q lovely person from what I've read. A true gentleman.
