Happy Saturday everyone! Well this was a fun one! 🤣 In total fairness, the conclusion is that this is actually the best bang for buck robovac on the market if you're not looking for a mopping system. That video reminded me of something. The last time I bought an ice-cream the bloke said "Do you want hundreds and thousands". I replied "I'll just have one to start with thanks".
I recently just got the K10+ and hadnt managed to set it up until last week. Now I realised the one I got has huuuuge issues. It also keeps running into the walls, keeps getting lost and cant find its homebase... even if it is right in front of it... it keeps trying to dock into it the wrong way round 🤦♀️. Also the maps it creates are insane. It can never locate itself as to where it actually currently is. And it creates the most fantastical crazy maps which also keep changing every time it vacuums.
Cool review and all, but you forgot to answer 4 essential questions: Who put the bomp In the bomp bah bomp bah bomp? Who put the ram In the rama lama ding dong? Who put the bop In the bop shoo bop shoo bop? Who put the dip In the dip da dip da dip?
Hi Paul great video as always have you looked at the roborock Qrevo S I got one 2 weeks ago on sales for £530 and other then it’s not as small as the switch bot it is amazing, the moping system is a big upgrade and not just a stick on pad
Paul, I always watch your videos whether you’re showing something I am interested in or not. Your humor is wonderful and your video editing is excellent. That all said and done I am very intrigued by your light up mirror squares that you seem to have over the place. Would you be so kind as to tell me who makes them and where I can get some? Also, please tell me that you’re not using actual turds and it’s just some chocolate looking thing.😂
Thanks dude! The turd is just a rubber poo. 😂 The cubes are hypercubes from the hyperspace lighting company. Not cheap unfortunately. I reviewed them years ago, you can check that out here... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q3wUNK6MzcM.html
£400 and it doesn't even mop properly, I paid £80 for one, not switchbot of course, 4 years ago that does all this :) Anyway, great video as ever, keep it on the fly, its funny, have a great week
One of the things I like about your reviews is that you include the less shiny experiences that come from working with Home Automation (and some, like installing that door lock, from more general DIYing. I wonder if that's why it's called DIYing.) I already know I live in a world where, "It just works!" is always a lie and I want to know just exactly where each particular product just doesn't work. For the sake of entertainment, if that not working occurs in a way that can be amusing, even better. Even in the situation where Paul from the future can say it's been fixed now, it's useful to know that some problems can indeed be fixed by firmware updates and that this particular product now works well. (I appreciate the times you go back into reviews and add fixes and updates as well. As you know, I almost always watch the reviews right when they come out, but I don't always get to actually purchasing the product and sometimes even hold off to see if a particular bug-a-boo has been fixed. In this area of endeavor, information is king. On the "easily disgusted viewer who is incomprehensibly still a viewer bit": It takes a certain mindset to find double entendre in nearly any interesting choice of words. This guy clearly has that mindset. (Of course, he's also the poster-child for confirmation bias as well.) I am almost always amused by this bit nonetheless. Thanks for another great review (which also highlights to worth of Paul from the future). See you next Saturday.
Not realted to this video, do you have by any chance a "dumb" AC units with a remote control that nobody wants to use it and made it smart with a Sensibo thingie?
I bought the Plus based on your review back in the day, and I've been very happy with it. If this is the same price, I'd have no problems buying this if I needed another one.
Many thanks Paul. So when does the fly get on your back to ride you around the room? It's only fair. lol I hope you and your loved ones have a great weekend!
I’d be buying a Narwal Freo Z based on your last video, but they’re not available in the UK and don’t ship from the US either. Why did they (Narwal) want you - a UK RU-vidr - to review their product when they don’t sell into the UK at all?! Where you said “You’ll spend your own money to buy a second for upstairs “, where are you buying it from? A special deal because of sponsorship?
I’m disappointed. You said it was the best at “going in and out” and “getting into tight spaces” and you just left those hanging without further innuendo.
@@paulhibbertha ha don't take it too personally 😁... My only weekend escape from the 2 little terrors that are my progeny/spawn of satan himself! Welcome to parenthood by the way 😂
As an owner of a K10+ I can honestly say it's fine if you don't have children or pets. Object avoidance is bloody awful, even a size 10 shoe it will happily push around the floor. Throw a cat toy in there or a childs book or something and it will give up. I would not recommend it
@@paulhibbert not enough to warrant a rebuy I fear, and sort of feels like they used early adopters as beta testers given it's the same price less than a year in
Just make sure your floor is clear. I have mine on a schedule over night so when I go to bed I just make sure things like shoes are put away. I rarely have any issues with it. It did get stuck under the couch a few times but I put something under the feet and now it doesn't. As long as you are aware of these weaknesses it's a great little unit imo.
@@CAJR22 easier said than done in a house with two kids and cats. And overnight would wake everyone As I say, it's fine, but honestly no better than the £150 Eufy I bought 4 years ago and "upgraded" to this - just smaller so gets more places (and gets stuck more places)
