We usually get to gigs late but we got there early for The Darkness in Brisvegas. Never heard of you guys until that night. I was hooked after the first song. Like seriously, how fkn good are you guys. Will deffo be catching your show when you come back next month and I'll even buy you a beer if possible

I came into the gig with no preconceived notion of what you guys would be like. I'm always happy to see a support band because that's how you discover great new music. Incidentally, because I'm really old, the first artist that came to mind when I saw you was Kevin Borich. I also think you were channelling Finch and Blackfeather (yes that's how old I am). I'll be seeing you in Brisbane and if you look into the audience and see a woman old enough to be your mother dancing like crazy at the front of the stage, it's most likely me!

We saw you open for The Darkness in Melbourne on the first night of their Australian 2022 tour, and we thought you were fantastic: the perfect mix of genuinely memorable songs, stage presence and amusing audience banter. And the audience clearly agreed! Great stuff. :) But we were heartbroken that, although you had clearly worked to win everyone over, you then had to tear down your own gear in front of that very same crowd. We genuinely felt terrible for the band! Although we realise that opening acts typically get the short end of the stick, to see you traipse back out to break down your amps, etc. afterwards was a real shame. You guys deserved better. Luckily Cal got a warm reception when he returned to guest with The Darkness on 'Christmas Time (Don’t Let the Bells End)', but still...we felt for ya'll.

Absolute gold!! a mate shared some footage of SRB at the thornlie tavern not long ago, since seeing the footage, you got me burning holes in my shoes. keep up the farkin great music n content! hope to see SRB in busselton and perth🤙
