This goes to show you who’s the audiophile and who is not. Studio LP is fine, but this version is so clean and LIVE. How could you NOT like this?? Shaking my head. I LIVE for versions like this from ANY band. Sounds so sweet on my system, sound stage image, the works. You don’t get that from a radio edit.

Absolutely perfect. Please don't take offense, but I was blown away to see a group of white guys. Best R&B act I've heard in a long time. Kinda funky like early Stones. Beautiful.

I tried to explain to a friend that I find their music so compelling, but I couldn't describe it. To me, it's the lyrics, the instrumentals, the singing and so much more. She knows music and I had hoped she'd clue me in on the possible why, the chords, refrains, ?, etc.
my guess is the bass! some bands underappreciate that the bassist can do more than a simple refrain and their bass plays more than the same simple chord progression, it's treated fairly like an active instrument in the band
They did a version of the Bee Gee's "To Love Somebody" that had a steel guitar with a wah-wah pedal. I've never seen it before. Check out Jammin in the Van to see it!
