the tea about the "love to hate jennie" part runs deeper than you guys know actually, it all started when she had a "dating scandal" 'cause it's against of YG's rules for their idols to date, and jennie was caught by the press with her (never confirmed) boyfriend at the time, and she got a lot of hate for that, not only from the media but also from the fans who had her as their girl crush. then came her solo, she was the first one to debut and people were afraid it meant YG was going to forget about the band to focus on her or that she was going solo for real lol, so fans were wary of her solo and started the rumor that she's the most privileged in the band amongst the other members, etc. and lastly, people call her lazy in her performances sometimes, disregarding her ankle injury and everything, so yeah, jennie actually is the most loved while also being the most hated of blackpink bc of her reputation, half good and half bad, prompted by blinks and the media

The difference between Jennie hate and Lisa I personally think is that it’s fanbase vs Korea. Lisa does get hate in Korea (probably outside of Korea too) because she’s not Korean. She’s the most popular/successful and most known in the western side. Jennie started getting hate a bit after the beginning. The nickname “YG princess” was actually used as an insult. Everything she did, she was accused of favoritism and that’s where the nickname “YG princess” came from. She got hated because she got the rap lines even though she was the main rapper, because her outfits “were better”. Then she started getting sick and couldn’t dance as well (something she talked about on the documentary, how she had to do physical therapy), but the fans accused her of being lazy and saying she thought she didn’t have to try because she was better than the rest. There’s more to that, you guys kinda have to look into it. Basically she got hated for being the most liked, and Lisa is now kind of heading down that road too for being the most known. It’s just KPop fans being toxic.

Rewatching... on the language front Jennie: speaks Korean, Japanese and English fluently and learning French(and possibly Mandarin) Rosé: speaks Korean, Japanese and English fluently and learnt/still learning Spanish. Jisoo: speaks Korean and Japanese fluently, pretty good Mandarin and learning English. Lisa: speaks English, Thai, Korean and Japanese fluently, pretty decent Mandarin and proved that she knows very basic Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay and Tagalog

KPop is an industry that often over works their Idols... Soloists / Groups have 2-3 "comebacks" a year. With the first full album droping on average at about 13-14 months after debut(that's an average, before people go crazy). Not to mention the shows, concerts, etc.

The YG strategy only works for BLACKPINK. Kpop industry thrive because of the constant contents to get fans always engaged. Every group releases more than 2 comebacks a year because there are so much groups out there that if you don't release anything you would easily be forgotten. As they've said they didn't expect blackpink to become this big. It's because of how big they came out in their debut YG was able to pull this off because if it were other group, a rookie, having only 5 songs and having to wait 7-12+ months for a new release they would've been forgotten already
