There was an entrance when HBO was about to show a movie.

Mentioned Heaven Can Wait but forgetting Warren Beatty is like mentioning Disney without Mickey Mouse. Obviously he has not watched the movie.

HBO used to be special, like the other premium movie channels. What value does it have now? it still occasionally produces a nice series, and when one is on DVD, then I'll watch.

I loved and subscribed to HBO for decades until it turned communist. I wouldn;t take it for free now.

I used to go through the listings at the begging of every month, and yellow in stuff to watch or VHS tape to watch. 40 years ago, that intro to movies was sooo exciting, kind of like the ABC Sunday night movie intro (which usually had the best major movies on TV). Then about 2012, there was less, and less, that I would be interested in and more and more that was not only not interesting, but flat out offensive. Finally, after watching the thing since the mid 1970s, I just cancelled the subscription. ESPN was similar..
