Golden message: Do not waste food. Only put on your plate what you can eat. Food tastes better when there are a lot of people eating together. Definitely true! Thank you Rose and Family!
Wow! That is not light work at all. I love that you are all working together so everyone does their part. Also your message is absolute gold “DO NOT WASTE FOOD”
Nice that the available family come together for the harvesting. The weather hasn't been great for the rice crops, but they managed to do quite well considering the conditions. Hard but satisfying work.
Hey Rose you really sound like a TV presenter right now, who is broadcasting news, very professional gal, hard work rewards great results, love you family ❤💗❣😊
Yes I can see that it is harder than we initially thought the supposed “western world “ know to get rice.😮. I feel quite unqualified in understanding the cycle of our food. Thanks Rose as always for giving us insight and showing what families look like when the work together as well as eat together!❤. You all are amazing.
I harvested rice before in my country in West Africa, in the village.I used to have itchy reactions from the sheaves. We had to manually separate the husk rice from the sheaves. Rose you are amazing.
Wow! Rose, I like the way you're fearless. You're not afraid to get your hands dirty. I really admire your strength. The comradery with the family is amazing. May God continue to bless you all.❤
One of my uncles married an aunt whose family were farmers. She reminded me when I was a little girl, not to waste any rice as each piece rice required lots of work. I never have, I clean the plate or bowl, no rice left :)
So wonderful that all the family works hard together ❤️ May the rice you harvest with all your hard work be delicious and nourishing to all of your families! Love you guys ❤
In my village in Nigeria, we used sickles like the one you have Rose to harvest our rice. We tied the bundles together and stashed them in a dry area. There would be approximately a 3ft wide in circumference by 4ft deep depth. It would be beaten smooth to prevent excess soil or stones. We would beat the bundles against the edge of the hole, and the rice would fill the hole to be gathered into bags and transported into storage at home. I have a question. How do you prevent birds from eating your rice? We had scarecrows, and sometimes, someone sat and made noise to keep birds from the field. We had one of the world's varied exotic species. I left Nigeria almost 40 years ago. Things might have changed. So the battle was between the field mice and birds during rice harvest season😂
So funny as soon as I saw the stacks, I was thinking about arranging them the African way in Rosa’s village and then you talked about it. It’s hard work and your family always work together well. 😅
Very valuable lesson for us all 🌹, until we grow n harvest our iwn food we will never really appreciate it. I feel bad whenever i throw food away. So i try to eat what my stomach wants. Not my eyes. That brings a family together and the community
Hey Rose happy to see you happy working on Rice fields it's really hard . Greetings from MWEA KENYA .Thank God Now in MWEA we are using MACHINES to hat harvest..
Какая молодец, Роуз,стала настоящей китаянкой! А снопы сушить не нужно, чтобы молотить для получения чистого риса.Вы читаете наши комментарии?Удачи вам во всем!
Rose, you are doing well. I am so happy for you. Those of us who itch over slight attachment on our skins no matter what it is, someone will think we are lazy if we are married to such families.
