I just finished watching this. I missed it when it came out originally. That was a great interview. I’m an old guy, but like Tom, I came here from Canada, and the things that he spoke about regarding that, and his feelings about America, just made me realize that he and I have a lot in common. I love this country, and I loved it long before I came here, and it’s hard watching the way things are going down right now. I got behind DJT the minute he announced he was running, not because he was Republican, but because he wasn’t a politician, and growing up seeing him being interviewed throughout my life, I always agreed with him on his conclusions, whatever topic they were talking about. I knew he was going to make a difference. This album they are talking about releasing is the first rap album I have ever bought. God bless America 🇺🇸!

It's not really "anywhere". There are a lot of places on this earth where people can't live up to their potential. Thankfully America is one of the places where you CAN if you work for it. Don't misunderstand. I'm not saying America is the only place. Just that there are places in this world where Adam and Tom would be killed for living up to their potential. I still don't understand why interviews don't prepare for this delay ahead of time (in case it happens, always default to interviewer, or something. Even news channels have this issue with everything being remote).

Tom and Adam hit the nail on the head with where society has failed. “The minority on both sides have the loudest voices.” and “We should be able to disagree and hey, you wanna go get something to eat”! This is by far one of the most down to earth interviews with a very clear perspective.
I'm a 50 yo white woman and have listened to rap since the late late 80's. I have to say, this collab is the best I've ever heard. Both of these men are good honest to goodness patriots (regardless that Tom is Canadian) Adam loves this country because he was born with the freedom that is inherent for ALL of America's citizens. Tom loves America because he understands how important freedom is. Freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and freedom of choice. How can it get any better than this?
Im 61 and never liked rap music until my 34 yr old son sent me a TM song and i was instantly hooked. We all are in need of hearing the truth and hes getting the job done. Great collaboration with these 2 artists. Awesome interview.

I found these guys about 4 weeks ago. I've since picked up all of Tom's solo albums and some of the collabs, including The Brave, and that's all I've been listening to. My wife and 17 yr old son are just as hooked as I am. His message is beautiful and powerful, and incredibly inspiring. Together with Adam, Nova and Tom are opening people's eyes to the true darkness in the world and courageously shining a light on it, for all to see. Remember, it's Us against them, not You against Me. Thanks Tom, Adam, Nova, and the whole Hang Over Gang. Love Y'all!
I found him in January of 2021 and I tell ya, his fan base, aka his "fam", is amazing...if you have any questions about him or his music we're always here to help. Thanks to Tom I've liked rap music for the first time in my life (I'm 46)...I got my family hooked on his music & I haven't listened to any "mainstream" artists since I found him, only independent artists for the past year...You should check out Burden & Samson...they are also patriotic independent artists.

I look forward to a new song and video almost every two weeks. I barely listen to anything else because the content and messages are the same as every other artist and it's all trash. The message and content matters. It effects the way people think, this has been proven time and time again in psychology. The shine hasn't worn off in 4 years, it's stronger than ever. And a couple million+ feel the same way. Just my take. It may have for you, or maybe you never got into him, and that's cool. He's not for everyone.

Most of us who have found Tom have gone through the same thing. I found him over a year ago. I hope you are also enjoying some of his non-political music. I turned 45 in January and tom is in his 30s. As I learned more about tom through interviews like this I started to consider him like younger brother because he is not only a raw and honest musician but he great person my fiancee gets into his music as well. I have been saying for quite some time wouldn’t it be awesome if Donald Trump uses a Tom MacDonald or Adam Calhoun song for his theme. Also even though Tom is from Canada he’s more of a patriotic American than a lot of the Americans here in the states.
IMO if I had to choose my favorite song from the Brave album, it would have to be (In God we trust) I mean the message in that song is amazing, honest, & things that need to be said & addressed. Even in just the hook it says so much in only a few lines, which are so true & facts." Keep it up guys, this for sure is one of the best things to open more eyes & ears to hear. I really wished that people in our country would see & realize our Government has/had been separating us from each other for decades.

Great interview. I have listened to Calhoun, Jones, and Upchurch. Love their music. This new project (McDonald & Calhoun) I first heard on Pandora which led to me listening to this video. I’m impressed with both of their insights and views. Very interesting. They speak from a perspective that is often unheard of in this musical genre (rap, hip hop) and the nation. That is solid White Men expressing their ideas of life from a non urban viewpoint. It is needed. It should unify if people are “hearing” what they are saying. Nothing separatist about what they are saying. Keep up the great work guys. Great interview Lara. And yes, I’m a different culture.
It's interesting how Tom talks about how he was always fascinated with America and basically how the American spirit is so well advertised. Makes you wonder what's happened here and why so many of our own citizens don't feel that spirit or take any pride in being an American. Too many simply just appear to hate the USA. So sad and crazy at the same time. Much respect for both of them and the music they are sharing.
I think the biggest problem is children growing up with a cellphone in there hand with no monitoring an the television without being censored by an adult, and most of all taking God out of schools an discipline of the child, all the young parents want to be there child's best friend, a child needs a parent to teach them right from wrong an teach them respect!!!

My family caught me listening to whiteboyz, and they found it hard to believe that this 70 year old Welshman loves both these artists, the words are amazing, and they are both great artisits. They also both come across as people you'd enjoy meeting. Since discovering them both I always wanted to hear and see them together. A dream come true.

Lara hit it on the head, you articulate so well through the power of music what many of us are thinking and feeling. It is a message of truth, common sense and logic; the basic principles of intelligence. Music sends a powerful message that is hard to ignore. It worked in the 60's and maybe its time for fundamental values to make a comeback.. through music; specifically, your brand of music. Our society is suffering from a bad case of woketitis and if we do not find a cure soon, our country will continue to self destruct. Music may prove to be the cure in the long run but for now it is at the very least an effective treatment! So please, keep sending us more doses! Peace out.
