@@CakingatMidnight I am so glad I found your video. I have been doing these 3 piece molds wrong for a whole YEAR! Yes, I am that person that pushed that silicone piece into the chocolate. I can't believe how much time I wasted in the past. I knocked out multiple halves in no time doing the flip method. Thank you again!
@@Decorationdreamz4u I tried my mold last night and thought I did them right No I must have done it wrong I did everything that was shown on another video because the chocolate stuck to the part of the mold that were impossible to get out and I ended up breaking the one side off the mold trying to force the shell out and it destroyed that part of the mold. I went back and watched a different video where it showed the chocolate molded around the insert like it should have so I ended up calling Amazon and they are sending me out a new mold plus I need to order 2 more of these molds so I can do more at a time so I don't know what I did wrong butI will be very careful this next time
@@sherriristow3454 Were you using the 3-piece molds and they were missing the thin silicone inserts? You have to use the inserts or else your chocolate will break. If you were using the mold with the silicone and your chocolate still broke, it could be a couple of things, like not leaving it in the freezer long enough (I do 7 minutes), or your mold wasn't completely clean. I use a paper towel that I squirt with everclear (you could use vodka, too) and then I thoroughly wipe the inside of the mold where the chocolate is poured. I do this before I fill every time. As for more molds, I hear you. I have 4 sets of all of the sizes. I purchased mine on Etsy from a shop that sells them in quantities of 4.
