Reminds me of the 1-minute tea pot that Jonny Vegas made on Pottery Throw Down… only this made me laugh until I p’d a little!!! Being new to potting, I was being waaaaay too serious at how terrible I am at this. Ready to dig in again with a grin. 😋 Thank you!

OMG THANK GOD FOR THE DESCRIPTION because I just watched it few days after 1st of April and I already was planning to learn the "pulling down" technique. I also recently learnt to pull handles, I was so proud and I felt like an idiot after this video. Hahaha omg, but my excuse is that I´m a newby!

Absolutely the best demo you have ever made. So inclusive of all folk who do pottery with even a nod to those coffee drinkers. Will we have to wait until next year for you to do the one and only best coffee pour, or did I miss it? Wonder if I will taste the lemon in my tea from the Pine Sol?

I'm brand new to pottery and was ready to learn some good stuff. Some things seemed very wrong, but I figured I just didnt know any better. The longer this went on the more my eyes squinted, especially with the tea info leaked throughout. You got me for a little bit there lol 😅

Thanks for the great info -- never knew I was making my tea pots with so many things wrong - no wonder they never sell -- I'll always think of you from now on while making my new and improved "American" tea pots. I know I can make it through another year with supportive master potters like you ❤️

I am so glad I found this as a complete noob. See, today is my 9 year anniversary and my wife got me a wheel and some clay. Unfortunately, you said that if you learn one pound, you should use... 2.5 pounds was it? More is better. But since I learned 2.5 pounds, I'm clearly going to need 20 pounds to make a good teapot that will have to stay on the kitchen floor to make sure it gets used. Thanks again!

Nah it was entertaining and clearly a joke video, so I wasn't trying to follow along at home or anything. My first video of yours was in the beginners series showing the basics of centering and pulling it up till it breaks. I'll practice that a bit before making my dog sized tea pot.

Yeah, well I'm watching it in October '22. Came here from the fb group. Hit the subscribe button, and immediately clicked on this teapot tutorial. Highly confused/offended as a tea drinker from the US, by the cup with teabags, have never used my teapot... almost unsubscribed before the clip was done. Dude, you got me good.
