Oh, thank goodness! Thanks for this. I just bought my first AirPods (2nd Gen.), because I have a 3rd gen. iPhone SE now and it does not have a headphone jack. I knew there had to be a better way for my arthritic hands to get them out.
This solves the problem I had, where I was pushing towards the indicator light: you need to use quite a bit of force for the AirPod to pop out, and on at least one occasion, it popped out of the case and fell on the floor. This way not only gets the AirPod out of the case easier, but by continuing the rotating motion, it orients it correctly too. Now if only there was some way to improve how the AirPods shut out external noise, so I could actually hear mine if I'm on the London Underground, or when trucks or busses go past. I love the design and neatness, but for use outside in a busy city, where sound insulation and quick access to the volume controls are important, I really wish I'd bought the BeatsX instead.
I thank you so much for this video. You made a very frustrating task “EASY PEASY” I used to go crazy trying to grasp them out with my thumb and forefinger. 😅
Push finger down without bracing your thumb and they actually flick out themselves. 👍🏻 cool little trick for getting your ear bud out. 👌🏻. Especially with big fingers.
I have a question.I bought my Airpods gen 2 4 Days ago. When I push the top of the case to the left or right It make kinda cracking sound. Is this normal or should I send them back?
as someone who just got airpods for the first time I felt really fucking dumb struggling to take these out of the god damn case lol, good thing that I'm not the only one who was struggling to figure out an easy way lol
Uggg.. You're still doing it wrong. TWIST INWARD not outward. Just put your finger right on the speaker and push in rotating the left one clockwise and the right one counter-clockwise. Your method leaves the AirPods in the opposite orientation of how they need to go into your ears and you'll have to spin them around in your fingers and probably drop them. When you spin them inward they are in the correct orientation to go in your ears and even pop up out of the case a little so you can grab them by the stem and get a better grip.
It’s hard to remove especially when u have dust guards which will peel off if I takeoff the AirPods Edit: now they have ripped cuz I have used this technique
Unless you've got Parkinson's etc, or some poor hand dexterity I'm struggling to see how this requires a video explanation? Are majority of people so thick? or maybe this is a joke video I'm not even sure?
