🔥🔥🔥 FIRE! The Dynamic Duo never disappoints! Big fan since 64, this just may be my favorite. Bill Medley 82 is still performing with Bucky Heard. Bobby Hatfield sadly passed in 2003. Big loss for family and music lovers.
This video shows what a powerful duo they were .This duo will always go down in history as one of the greatest duo's in music. They were the whole package Talented beyond words plus handsome.Bobby passed in 2003 (to young) a few months after they were inducted into the ROCK and ROLL Hame of Fame.Bill is still singing and performing today after all these yrs.
These guys were so awesome when they came out in the 60's scene. I'm 74 yrs and still love hearing their beautiful songs. I have all of their vinyl record albums in my collection. Too bad we lost Bobby! RIP Bobby! We miss hearing your beautiful voice! 😢❤️
Their performance of "You'll Never Walk Alone" live on The Ed Sullivan show really highlights the ranges of their voices. In fact at the end of this song Bobby Hatfield hits a note so high that Bill Medley's head involuntarily jerks away as if he was startled!
Bill Medley's solo Brown Eyed Woman is fantastic. Features Darlene Love in the Blossoms the background singers. Shes fantastic. I'd appreciate you reacting to that to bring this great song to light
This song is one of the memorable songs from Carole King. When they sing, please don't leave me, is one of the most memorable haunting vocals of any pop music song ever.
You should listen to the original video - this version was edited to improve sound and take out the screaming girls, but it also buried Bobby's voice in the chorus and somehow seems to distort his voice in solo bits. It's not hard to find the other version and it's worth it - even with the somewhat scratchy sound.
Bill medley baritone.bobby Hatfield tenor Bobby is no longer with us.bill still performs. Bill said that he thought this song was their signature song. And his favorite
Please God,,let me see a singer(s) of today try to sing this song,,WITHOUT AUTO TUNE,,like Bil & Bobby,,,I need a good laugh. The Righteous Brothers,, maybe the best ever
Hope you return to music reactions. Im sure many others feel the same.i suggest Bill Medley and the Blossoms from 68 doing Brown Eyed Woman at Playboy Club, (family viewing) and his solo For yr Precious Love as a solo Been a huge fan of R. Bros since the start in 64.
Not my favorite RB song, but it's the song and arrangement that's lacking, not the voices of Bobby and Bill. Tho this was really a Bill solo with Bobby doing backing vocals. A shame, really - would have been better if Bobby had a bigger part.
There's another copy of this same performance floating around RU-vid where Bobby's voice isn't practically edited completely out of the chorus. You might enjoy that more, since Bobby's voice is very evident, as it deserves to be.
