i wonder, has anyone tried 'knocking' the jubi peal while they're down in order to see what pitch they actually are? impossible to tell when being rung
My memories of a good day; the handbells were daft but amusing for us and raised a few smiles at the station. Wallies we are, but there's a helluva lot worse things we could have done had we the mind to. A good albeit daft end to a fantastic day!
Ringer Jake Possibly, but I wouldn't have paid much attention to the route once I was on the train unless it involved a change at Reading or arriving into Swindon station!!
They were surprisingly alright, you could hear them OK when the Charmborough ring wasn't going, the Jubi peal on the other hand were awful, couldn't tell a note there at all!!
