I like places and scenes but not like character. I feel something missing in character. Character is not good as LOTR world. Storyline is little bit good but as @Nerdhaunt said they don't have full rights of book. Let's hope we will see something good in next episode and season. I heard that Amazon have plan of 5 series of Rings of Power. By the way good explanation brother.

The problem with this show is that , it shows Galadriel as too perfect like only she is confirmed that Saouron is hiding somewhere while they rest of the elves have no clue about it, right from that snow scene where all her companions started complaining about wanting to go home while she was being determined and also taking down that troll ,she single handedly killed it while 3 of her companions were struggling to land even a single blow to it. The portrayal of elves is also very off , compare it with the original LOTR elves, Elves are supposed to be the wisest of them all , very elegant and poised, but in this show they seem like humans ,not very catchy dialogues and overall dull. The pacing of the show is also very slow, character development is also off, I don't feel connected to any of the characters. The background and sceneries are amazing but overall this show seem without soul. Special mentions about the Harfoots , they are annoying simply annoying and their terrible accents.
