Not sure if you experimented with the .8 volume reducer, but I found it to be the sweet spot for me. You do still hit bottom but I almost never notice it. With the .9 the ramp was so aggressive that I noticed a harsher feel with more feedback through the pedals. If you really only ride jumps jumps/bigger hits the .9 might work best, but if you ride other kinds of trails l, the .8 really takes the sting out, and you can always add more air for jumping if you need the extra support.
