the goddamn German Jamba ad threw back a whole DECADE, the weirdly sexual 3D animals, the design of the panels on screen, how you can choose between different things to text?? Though what's deeply burned into my mind is the voice actor aggressively trying to convince you that THIS is the new cool shit.. and it could be on YOUR phone!! ... for only 5€ a week. These ads covered the whole back of basically every TV magazine, truly a bizarre pre-smartphone memory.
I'm creating a cartoon. It's called, Forgotten Tales! It's about these forgotten and obscure characters that no one remembers from media going on wacky and crazy adventures.
What is that statue in the left side of this video? I recognize it from Ena, but if it originates elsewhere, I'm unaware. I was going to assume it was merch, but I can't find it on Joel G's merch store - so either it's custom/3D printed, or it comes from somewhere else. And I mean... It's cut off in a pretty specific way
Came here from your Shmoovement video thinking it's a one off hit but all your videos seem really good. Crazy Frog was probably the first video I watched on RU-vid way back when it was first released and it's nice to finally learn its history.
an NFT would have been a perfect match for the mascot of a predatory ringtone company Cell phone history is interesting in general, How fast they went from something seen in the USA almost exclusively in the hands of Wall Street hotshots and their drug dealers to probably the most ubiquitous piece of personal electronics in the world.
Underrated video dude. This is probably the only piece this in depth on the topic. How do you even begin going about finding the history of something like this?
Came here from your starcraft video (can't wait for it to continue!) and dude. Even with the shift in presentation (and subject) you make really awesome videos. Subbed, for reviving obscured memories of this heathen frog.
Constructive criticism: the video felt way too bloated with just your face and talking. Your new video on schmovement had amazing editing and I think this video could have done well with more editing and maybe shrink it down to 20 mins or less. Love the content and am a big fan so far!!!
