He's one of the biggest reason we tuned in for ti1, ti2, and their rivalry with Alliance on ti3. He was the greatest mid player, and to reach TI's grand finals 3 times when he was playing against Burn1ng, Fear, and all the old gods, you cannot say anything bad about this man.

Dendi is the GOAT. He was, literally, the first worldwide esport supestar. And by taking the role so gracefully, he opened a thousand doors for every pro gamer among all games. The international 1, Dendi, Navi... They were they first men on the moon. Respect forever.

I feel like dota has changed so much that players like dendi lagged behind. Same happened with s4 who was once one of the best midlaners along with dendi but is now an offlaner but the difference is that s4 actualy has a team full of stars while dendi remained loyal to navi

he was only good when players back then were mediocare. Stop overrating this man players back in the days werent as good as players today

They weren't as good back then as now, but neither was Dendi. He played at the same level as everyone else back then. Yet he won. He deserves all the credit. Today? I'd not argue that he's the best player nowadays. But as someone who played against him, he is very good. It's not that he has gotten worse. In fact he has gotten much, much better. Just not enough to compete with the best pros out there. They surpassed him. That, however, does not undermine his past achievements. He deserves all the credit. Today I see Dendi as remnant of old dota that we who play today should be happy is still with us. I'm a bit doubtful about his future chances in the pro scene. But I'm glad that he's around, as he's a legendary icon in all of Dota.
