Snowfall truly had some amazing writing. Franklin was such a complex character & to see his downfall was sad, but deserving of his manipulative ways & choices. The sad part is that he could've listened to those who had his best interest at heart & could've had a different outcome, but decided not to
@@akirawr_7485That's unfair for Franklin. My man was stabbed in the back almost by everyone, starting with Alton, Louie, Teddy, Cissy, and lastly his girlfriend, Veronique. Most of them wanted to protect him, some got greedy and ambitious, and one wanted to protect the future of his son. Stating he's manipulative in a rather bad way is too far, although i agree he's manipulative, but he did it to survive and to get out of the game alive, which he surprisingly did, better or worse.
He tried to get out the game when he found out he had a baby on the way, but they took his money, so he had to resort back to what he knew, which is what began his downfall.
Greatest live-action TV character of our time. Possibly one of the greatest shows. I just pray they close it out the right way. Don't do my dawg wrong. Don't do me wrong.
I’m not ready to process this show being over. I don’t wanna see Franklin get killed or locked up, I don’t wanna see Cissy saint telling Franklin how she did what she had to do…. So glad my mother isn’t sucking the life out of me on this level. Granted I don’t move bricks but if that had been my chosen path, my mom woulda had the mortar and tools ready to help me lay them. What a fkin ride we got to go on, Damson grew up right in front of us and is my favorite portrayal of what coming up and goin back to square 1 looks like. Rip Snowfall, you done us right
@@vetaron4025 Are you forgetting that Franklin said in the previous episode that he is willing to never see his mother again if he gets the money. Do you not understand his mother can see how the money has made him a monster? Deluded people like you can't seem to follow things properly
@@Only1udesire How? She chose to accept his drug money, ignore his crimes, and be a walking contradiction. She brought him into a world where he was poor, oppressed, and hungry for basic freedom. Then we he made something of himself and chased his dream, she intentionally blocked him from securing a future of generational wealth. Then even after that, she refused to even talk to him again. Trash mother if you ask me.
Bruh he failed his self!!!! Firstly,Jerome warned him from the junp what that yayo would cost him and he did not listen. Did you hit your head when you wrote this comment?
Bruuuuhhhhh the "him, him, him, her, him, him, her b BODIES BODIES BODIES" HE HIT THAT SCENE PERFECTLY AND THE DIRECTOR AND COORDINATOR AND THE YOUNG MAN MURRDERED THAT !!!!!
If someone stole $70 million from me (without provocation), stole my plug, mother of my child robbed me of $800,000, my bodyguard steals millions from me, my mother stops me from getting $37 million, my gf shot me, I would be in my feelings too
After 4 seasons many network shows start to lose money. Sons of anarchy was just like that that’s why it ended the writer originally had plan on a extra season. I think the writer here saw the writing on the wall. It’s brought great money to there hulu next day streaming but the live tv ratings have been low since season 4. There’s so much more to this story especially from the government point of view I’m hoping FX goes that route if they do not a spin-off but something in the snowfall universe. As for snowfall I see most of the characters being killed off hopefully most make it to the finale but either way like the 80s crack epidemic this will be a tragedy or if you look at it statically it was genocide.
He didn't fall to rock bottom. He was free no worries no cares just free. He had it all and lost it all and was still breathing that's a W in the game he was playing. Look at the rest that played it with him. Dead in jail or on the run Leon was the only one who did it better.
@@TheGreatB. when he shot miguel Flores they really went outside of his character to dehumanize him so that we would accept the “Alton - Franklin” dynamic after commercial break. I don’t think John wrote this ending, and I’m gonna stick to that
@@vetaron4025 idk man. Ain’t it funny how peaches only had $12k left. That’s the same price Franklin sold his first brick for. Idk who wrote it but it was realistic because they really have guys infront the store they used to be ballers man. This is indefinitely one of the greatest tv series in history
The Jesus Saves sign above Franklin ( the scene he pulls the gun out on Louie) is so significant. The thing is, Franklin does not want to be saved. There is nothing anyone can say to stop him from getting what he feels is his. We are watching self destruction.
Can’t see how people say they didn’t see his downfall coming. The man was on a set path to self destruction the minute he started messing with the keys. Literally opened Pandora’s box.
I feel like his story could’ve definitely went different paths, and the one that occurred in the show as truly the lowest of the low….what’s funny is, we all knew that money was never Franklin’s…we all knew….
The second he promised to come back with a new brick to Claudia every day in the pilot episode, I knew what was going to happen with him. It was one of those changing events that entailed a loss of innocence. You could see his downfall on the horizon the second he made it big.
@@arunputtanniah4466 definitely :( when he was in the car with his aunt that was really tugging on that exact same loss of innocence you’re pointing out, I’ll never forget that scene especially where he sees his father and doesn’t bother to stop
It all his mother's fault. I am so angry. Like every drug movie or series ends with a women either wife or mother or just a women who decide to take everything away from the main actor by either deciding to talk to the police or just betray him. If puppies didn't exist then all those drug dealers would live a happy ever after. If you don't believe me go and check. 1. Breaking bad ( his wife talk to thepolice) 2. Power ( hus wife told her son to shot him ) 3.narcos (wife agreed to work with police) and more... So in conclusion from now on unless the main actor is gay or just no women involved then i will never watch a drug tv show or movie again.
@@freeforall1232You didn’t watch Breaking Bad if you say it’s Skylar’s fault for Walt’s fall from grace. Walter White openly admitted that he could have stopped once he made enough money but he continued to sell meth because he enjoyed that lifestyle and eventually it came back to bite him. . I agree some woman do play a role in men’s downfall but it doesn’t apply to Franklin or Walter. Franklin’s aunt betrayed him.
Absolutely amazing series. Really sad to see Franklin end up penniless. Downfall started when Jerome and Louis got greedy and wanted to go alone. If they all stayed together they would have come out on top some way. Greed and ego got the better of them all including Teddy who should never have taken all of franklins money. What a great great story tho. Amazing

This story is amazing (considering the history). Even tho it’s a drama- it’s not. It’s real. I appreciate the angle of the story to tell different sides “as a drama”. I get it’s not a documentary but…. It’s not far off. Imo. Which means ish. 😂 can’t wait for the future episodes.
Franklin losing everything and turning into a “you got 10 bucks on you?” Ahh niqqa is literally what he deserved. He frustrated me during the second half of the show. Him blaming Louie for Teddy stealing his money is deflecting at its finest. If anything, I felt bad for Leon after he saw his best friend crash out

Franklin’s downfall was putting too much trust in those he loved. You have to be IMMENSELY cut throat. He only became that when it was already too late. Me personally, idm who you are because I’ve had nothing. I refuse to go back. My own mama would get the business if she touched my Ms’💯
