Murder Inc were like the parody of Death Row Records. I felt Irv Gotti was like Suge Knight in a bad way. Ja Rule and Ashanti were the faces of the label, so he only focus on their careers. Lloyd was kinda left behind because Irv didn’t pay enough attention to him. Ashanti still doesn’t like Irv Gotti because he stopped her from collaborating with other artists outside of the label

Yeah, I mean the label and the artists were successful and all, but come on, they had the same musical careers and standing power as the rest of our once popular artists: they come out with a handful of radio bangers we all love, but after a few years their 15 minutes seems to have already passed. And unfortunately, no matter how hard they try or how good their music is, trying to put out new music just isn't the same. They just don't have the same label backing and success they once had. It's a shame but its just the way that market works.

That ship has sailed. They had a good run and I was a fan of their music and I still enjoy that music from back then. But it’s definitely over at this point. And it has been over for almost 20 years now.
