Thanks you for your comments! I do my best to keep up with them for the first few days after a video comes out, but due to the volume of comments on all of my videos, and to the general hustle and bustle of life, I must give up the fight after a while. If you are leaving a question four or more days after a video comes out I can't guarantee I'll see it, but perhaps one of my other viewers knows the answer and can help out. Thanks in advance to those who contribute and share their knowledge. Cheers and stay safe everyone!

I am a Harley rider, but always liked the Victory bikes and felt that they were on the right path to being a true HD competitor. Just like Buell, in which HD gave up on them too soon, Polaris gave up on Victory too soon. As well, Polaris didn't do a great job of promoting Victory and I think that because of that they never became a known commodity.

this is where we were going with this whole conversation, please read or watch the video for there is nothing more important than your eternal salvation and where you spend eternity God bless :) if you ever want to talk i would be glad too < this is the gospel the greatest news you can ever hear we broke God’s law, the Ten Commandments written on our heart by our God given conscious (lying, stealing, using God’s Name in vain, looking with lust which is adultery in the heart, hating our brother, our neighbor, anyone, is murder in the heart etc.) Jesus paid our fine on the cross with His death and shedding of blood. He took our punishment on the cross, God pays us in death for our sin and while Jesus did not deserve to die He did so willingly to save us from sin and death and hell and give us life forever, He paid our sin debt on the cross in His life’s blood to save us all. Jesus rose again from the dead and by His blood our sins are forgiven. Jesus is alive forever as He is King of kings and Lord of lords and He saves all who put their faith and repent of sin, confess and forsake it genuinely and in Truth. God can legally let us live forever, we broke His law Jesus paid our fine, He can do what is legal and just and right let us walk on judgment day when we all give account to God for our lives. in response to what God has done you have to put your faith in Jesus to save you and repent of sin turn from it and deny self pick up cross daily and follow Jesus. when you put your faith in Jesus and repent of sin, confess and forsake genuinely you have God's promise you have life eternal as a free gift, God promises this, God Who cannot lie. God will also give you The Holy Spirit to abide with you forever to guide, help and comfort you in life as well as God will give you a new heart and spirit that loves righteousness that is a personal miracle for sin loving humans, so if you want a personal miracle seek after God with a whole heart and you will find Jesus, follow God’s ways and watch His work in your life He will never leave or forsake you and never let you down. get right with God, put your trust in Jesus and repent of sin, confess and forsake it and follow God and read your Bible God’s perfect Word ask The Holy Spirit to guide you as Jesus is The Living Word, ask The Holy Spirit to guide you in all confidence and God will in Jesus Name we pray amen always remember Jesus loves you that is why He saves us all! ✝️❤️< God bless when you have put your faith in Jesus, repented of sin u are born again and are saved u have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into The Kingdom of Light, from death to Life, the path to hell to Life eternal in heaven with God and Jesus in Jesus Name we pray amen obey Jesus, His Word, He and God will make His home Their home with u, God with you always in The Holy Spirit ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ixyuvdo_Sjg.html when you are born again, when you put your faith in Jesus and repent of sin (confess and forsake) God will give you a new heart and spirit that loves righteousness instead of sin and corruption. that is a personal miracle for sin loving human beings so if you want a personal miracle humble yourself before God seek after God with a whole heart and you will find Him. Jesus said if anyone desires to come after me let him deny himself and pick up your cross daily and follow Jesus, to obey His Word in for God and Jesus to come and make Their home with you, the power of God through The Holy Spirit. Proud Victory Cross Country owner here for 4 years and just love it. Most comfortable motorcycle I have owned with gobs of room to stretch out and outstanding performance for a big heavy bagger. Mine is Maximus tuned with LLoyds air filter and 501 Lloyds cam ( already had tri oval pipes ) and sits at 115 hp an tq. The only bike that could move me away would be the new Indian Challenger with PP 108 motor that Victory was designing to replace the 106, or a fixed fairing Indian PP 108 model rumored to be in production.

I still own a 2013 Cross Country Tour, I went from a Honda Valkyrie Interstate and never looked back. The CCT is far more reliable than the Valk ever was, More comfortable for long rides, fuel injected so you didnt have those annoying carb issues. Got better mileage and looked different than all of the other cookie cutter V twin bikes.

What will likely happen is some of the larger dealers will buy up all the left over stock they can get their hands on and keep selling into the future . It's what happened with Buell parts which aren't really carried by HD dealers anymore since they stopped selling them in 2010 , but a couple dealers still have almost a complete parts inventory available for now . You just have to know where to look once you own one you'll find out pretty quickly since basically they use derivatives of 90's and early 2000's HD parts so you'll need replacements .

I live in the uk, in 2002 i was looking to get back on a bike after 14 years away from them. I was looking for something other than a harley as i had never liked them. You seemed to be buying into a concept rather then a motorcycle. A friend of a friend had a victory dealership and turned up with two bikes and let me ride them. A V92C and a Vegas. Instantly smitten i bought the V92 and held on to it for 14 years. In the meantime i had a Vegas 8 ball and now have a Kingpin low. The V92 was the 51st Victory sold in the UK and now resides in the west of Ireland with a friend of mine, one of only 4 Victorys as far as i know in Ireland. Great bikes real pity they stopped making them.

I loved Victory. I was ready to pull the trigger on a Cross Country Tour, when they announced they were shutting down. I already have a sport touring bike, but was ready for a VTwin. I test road a lot of Harleys, and Indians, but nothing felt like the Vic. Until the Challenger. I'm convinced that bike was going to be the next Victory, no matter what Polaris says. So now I'm in the market for a 2021 Challenger.

I owned two Victory's the last being a 2016 Vision. This was far and above the best motorcycle I had ever ridden. We did Mutiple 500-mile days, and one 850-mile day, and at the end, we could get off the bike and still walk upright unlike the other brand. I should have known better when Polaris bought Indian, but two marketing guys and an engineer that were on the road show in Reno convinced me that Victory was their flagship motorcycle and would never go away. I pulled the trigger plus about 10k more and had the dealer in San Jose build my bike. It was all blacked out with no chrome, Arlen Ness everything, lowered, with an aftermarket stereo that was second to none. This bike cost me $32k and some change, and not even 18 months later wasn't even worth $8k. The dealer talked smack on what he would give me, but when I decided to sell it outright, his top offer was $9k with some bull-crap on excess inventory. I ended up giving it to my kid, who spent $1000 shipping it to Tampa only to find out the front master cylinder was damaged. No biggie, right? Wrong, finding a black master cylinder took 2 months and he paid almost double the original cost. What Polaris did was just wrong. Had they marketed the bike correctly, they could have been successful. I don't fault them for a business decision, but when they just abandon the product after about a year, well that is boarder line illegal. The icing on the cake was blaming the dealer network. All that said, I would never trust Polaris, let alone by any of their products again. If I needed let's say a quad for any reason, I would convert an old Yugo over giving them one dime of money. Its a shame because they build some cool stuff. But I just wouldn't trust them to take that chance. Had they gone a different route in the beginning, they would have been a force to be reckoned with, and Harley would have been a much different company. But in my opinion, they took the easy road, and because of that, they lost a lot of dedicated customers.

I currently own a 2015 Vic Cross Country, I love it and picked it over the bland street glide, I have been pondering going back to a basic cruiser and something lighter and if I do it will be an Indian, and it will most likely be a scout, and yes only 35% of the scout is the Octane but its the 35% that made it the Octane in the first place.

I couldn't afford a Victory, or Harley for that matter. And I've had a wide range of bikes since I started riding when I was quite young...and I'm now 51. I currently have a 2013 Honda Sabre VT1300, which is a "small" cruiser for me, but I'm a smaller guy, so it's ok. I digress, sort of. I really enjoyed this video, and I have to say I always did want a Victory. Two of my closest friends had them, and I LOVED them. One had a Vegas, one an 8-Ball. While I just love motorcycles, and in a wide range of styles, as far as cruisers go, I actually would prefer a Victory, and now with them gone, an Indian. Nothing against Harley, per se, I just like the more performance aspects of Victory and Indian, bike to bike. I always loved the V-Rod for that same reason. And while my Sabre is "ok" as far as power goes, the Magnas, VTX 1800, and Yamaha Raider I've had before this cruiser (not to mention sport bikes and several nakeds like the Kaw Z1000) sure did get up and move. They were also huge and heavy, and the smaller Indians and Victory bikes packed as much or more power in said smaller packages. So, I'm one also who is still sad to see Victory gone. I always did want a Hammer, too. Dang.

My first bike was a 2007 Vegas. That things was a beast! Unfortunately part support for that year was long gone. It ran great under full throttle but anything less and it would crackle and backfire. I once raced a Victory Vision up my favourite very long and steep mountain road. It consists of nothing but tight 20 mph corners. I was spinning my rear wheel from the torque of my Griso as I sat close behind him trying for a chance to overtake. The grin on my face probably stretched from ear to ear ! He had his wife on the back as well! My Griso eats high power Japanese bikes on roads like this but that Vision was impossible to overtake. For such a huge bike its handling is incredible. I know Australians that wanted a Victory, and they're pissed off they can't buy a new one. They don't want the Indian and are ordering Harleys instead. I also think that the Vision model with the lower windscreen is one of the most beautiful cruisers I've ever seen.

Victory's MAIN problem was marketing them in Honda /Yamaha / Kawaski Shops, Most HD riders wouldn't step foot in those places. I own a 2011 Jackpot and it is a great bike and when either a X1 or another 2013 Jackpot show up with a cheap price tag ( LOL The X-1 are still commanding $$$$$) I would grab one. Believe me there is interest when I stop with My Jackpot.

The Project 156 was the coolest Motorcycle ever, a Roland Sands designed Pikes Peak race bike that had a 1300cc DOHC V twin, quick shifter and a gas tank under the engine, it had so much potential, but not that DNA lives on in the Indian FTR1200, so.it wasn't a total loss.

Once again a very awesome video and perspective. Although you're probably going to piss off the Harley Riders because you put too many facts in there. I'm still amazed at how many "Harley people" refuse to acknowledge that Indian / Polaris is an American company and American made. Also that Indian has a long heritage just because it was not in constant production since its conception. Just foolish arguments. That's like saying Studebaker does not have a heritage going back to wheelbarrows and wagons for the 1876 Gold Rush. It's part of history and a deep Heritage whether it's in production now or not and if it happens to go back into production it's still part of their heritage. And now victory has a small piece of Indians heritage just like AMF has a small piece of Harley's Heritage and history.

Polaris really shit the bed with how they treated both the line (NO marketing) and the voracious Victory loyalists, throughout. I am a proud and loving owner of a 2016 Hammer S which will never leave my possession. And I intend on purchasing a Vision this year for the longer trips and storage. Essentially, Polaris chose to make their business model more Harley-esk. With a more iconic namesake, higher priced bikes, and make most of their money off of the exorbitantly priced accessories, clothing and gear. And in doing so, they not only eliminated the best overall built and performing American made bikes on the Planet. But, piss off those of us that helped them do that. Very unfortunate, on all accounts. Nice job on the video. I've both subscribed and hit the 🔔 #TTWFO #WWG1WGA 🇺🇲👊🇺🇲

The only thing that killed Victory was Polaris themselves. More specific-their wish to have Indian. They bought it in 2011 and 2012 was the most and the last profitable year of Victory. What a coincidence! Right at the moment they got Indian they virtually stoped all the RnD for Victory and the brand began to sink. The only thing needed to conquer the market was time. Well, not only time itself, but they had to built and sell great bikes for another two decades more. People need not only good product, but we also need time to get used to, time to warm up to those bikes or whatever product. When Toyota decided in 1983 to launch Lexus brand (actually it was Toyota’s chairman Eiji Toyoda), they set year 2000 when they planned to become recognizable as a brand and year 2020 when they planned to become a big player in luxury segment. Almost 40 years from first idea and 31 years from the first Lexus. By the way same with RU-vid vlogging: making good or even awesome content is not enough, you have to create and post awesome content regularly frequently for years before audience will notice your channel. Cause audience needs much time to get used to. Polaris found an excuse that _oh, Victory is non profitable_ just to shut it down and let them focus on Indian.

I think all the Japanese manufacturers gave up a little too soon. I feel like if they held their ground a little longer and stayed until the blackout your bike phase started they could have reached a younger demographic. I loved my Yamaha Bolt but after I outgrew it and wanted more, Yamaha did not have that offering to me in their lineup anymore so I had to go to Harley

I owned a 2016 Victory Gunner, when I heard Polaris was canceling the Victory brand and for the reasons told it just did not make sense. From what I have been told outside of America Victory had outsold Harley by one unit. If you compare them a Victory was much more easily maintained than a Harley, one oil for the engine and gearbox as opposed to 4 oils for a Harley. I personally believe that the move to cancel the brand was pure political due to the political climate of America at the time, Trump was pushing for all manufacturing to be returned to America. Polaris Victory brand by my dealers words was being manufactured in Mexico and being assembled with in the country of sale. When I bought mine the dealer had forgotten to remove the tags from its initial distribution point among forgetting other aspects. Also outside of America the number of dealers and service centers was limited for example in NZ there were very few. The one in Christchurch had only just opened and did not have a mechanic, so who was assembling the bikes I have no idea. My gunner in the first few weeks was plagued with problems of cutting out suddenly, once when I was passing a line of traffic, when it cut out I pulled in the clutch and made attempt to move over to the side of the road but an idiot in a 4x4 refused to let me in. Long story short the dealer fixed the issue but when i asked what the issue was he couldn't tell me siting that "I don't know". Despite this the Gunner was my first brand new bike, once the cutting out issue was fixed I had no problem with it, loved it and had been on long runs with no issue of comfortability, I had removed the baffles which gave a pleasant deep thud. Polaris did say they would produce parts for ten years but they failed to say only with in America. I needed indicator lens, oil filter and to get those had to wait until arrived from America. That may have been a once of thing I have no idea. But I am waiting for an Indian company to buy the brand as they have with BSA and other famous bike brands and bring Victory back again. The trouble with American vehicle manufacturers is they only base their decisions based on the American market and not necessarily on the the world market. If there was an abundance of parts I would buy another Gunner as my one was knocked out of action due to a female driver pulling out in front of me. So in my view Polaris did the Victory brand a disservice along with politics.

I bought a Victory Vision Tour after surviving a life threatening bought of Cancer. I had not ridden in 35 years and am 6' 6" and about 290 lbs. This bike is a dream. It cruises like a Cadillac, leans almost as much as a sports bike, and can Turn at idle in it's own length. It is the best $6000 I ever spent. As a past marketing man, Victory failed because of poor marketing and Polaris not taking advantage of their vast recreational vehicle dealer network. They are doing better with the lessons learned through Victory's failure with Indian, but they also really caused bad blood with the loyal Victory owner. My Victory is a great bike and I have no intention of getting rid of it.

He had his hip and leg surgically re-assembled and went through an entire year of re-hab, with his goal of buying another bike and riding again. He got through it and bought a "new" (used) bike. However he had hardly ridden it at all when his wife *"soft-guilted"* him into giving it up. You can I'm sure, understand the angle she used. I can't blame her. The irony is he'd just completed a 10-day "hard butt" ride from coast to coast and back without an incident, and then a week or 2 later got in that wreck less than a mile from his home!

this is where we were going with this whole conversation, please read or watch the video for there is nothing more important than your eternal salvation and where you spend eternity God bless :) if you ever want to talk i would be glad too < this is the gospel the greatest news you can ever hear we broke God’s law, the Ten Commandments written on our heart by our God given conscious (lying, stealing, using God’s Name in vain, looking with lust which is adultery in the heart, hating our brother, our neighbor, anyone, is murder in the heart etc.) Jesus paid our fine on the cross with His death and shedding of blood.
