The Rise Of Hurrem #42 - Hurrem Saved The Life Of Hatice's Baby "SHE IS A HERO!"
Click here to watch The Rise Of Hurrem 👉 • The Rise Of Hurrem - M...
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

cause this show likes to demote people in rank when they are mad at them lol. the was hatun until they married then became sultana. unlike mahidevran being called sultana when clearly she was hatun. her grave says hatun and hurrem's grave says sultana. also they like to make the sultans sisters act like they out rank her when in reality when she married him she outranked everyone except him.

She was never a sultana. She was a hatum and only became a Hesinki after marriage. Sultanas were only by blood. But because she married she got a title of Hesinki Hurrem.

Isn't hurrem Sultan's wife? So keeping that in mind, why is she bowing to people?
@Shanjida_Fariha
@Shanjida_Fariha 2 месяца назад
She bows to everyone who belongs to the royal family or has been working for the royal family, before she was a sultana.
@medicaoctavia8002
@medicaoctavia8002 2 месяца назад
Probably has to do with marrying into the crown, when she arrived as a slave. She still salutes with a bow because they technically outrank her until the Sultan says otherwise.
@Sandra-1wiq
@Sandra-1wiq Месяц назад
@@medicaoctavia8002She actually outranks them. And in real history, Hatice and all his sisters actually bowed down to her. But the show makes it seem otherwise. I think it’s due to her having respect for them. But in history they bowed to her.

For what I understand in this culture, those statues, even though there are historical statues and history now, but in this setting, they exactly are not Islamic approved out in the open

Since when hurrem has a degree in obstetric
@Redluna32
@Redluna32 4 месяца назад
I mean, to be perfectly honest it's probably a result of spending her formative years in a small peasant village. In an area where a midwife, let alone any other physician, might not be easily accessible, it makes sense that women such as Hürrem might learn basic triage tactics such as this.

@Redluna32

@@OmerFaruk-f1i In this scene? No, she's not. There's no actual recorded birthdate for Hürrem, leaving us to rely on guesswork, but her biographer, Leslie Peirce, theorizes she was about seventeen when giving birth to Mehmed in 1521. Given that Bayezid's been born by now, it's roughly 1527 or so, which would put her in her twenties. And, regardless, given the time period it wasn't at all unheard of for a fifteen year old to receive education regarding births or to have attended one (she had a younger sister, after all).

Why are they made to wear such deep necks🤢
@medicaoctavia8002
@medicaoctavia8002 2 месяца назад
It was how they dressed then. The way the clothing is made, that’s how it sat. If they needed more modesty, they had ways, but certain cuts of the blouse and jacket came from practicality. Rather than get rid of clothing that no longer fit, the blouse was simply cut lower to avoid choking the wearer and allow for feeding babies, and the jacket neckline would be altered to make it fit a larger bust. You may not like it, but it has practical uses and is at least a becoming way of dealing with a growing body.
@Sandra-1wiq
@Sandra-1wiq Месяц назад
The clothes (although I find them beautiful) they are actually historically inaccurate and they didn’t wear those types of dresses in those times.
