Robin Williams, a guiding light in the world of laughter, was like the cherished uncle of our collective joy. His boundless energy and infectious humor seemed to wrap around us like a warm embrace, inviting us to find solace and mirth in his comedic symphonies. His presence, whether on screen or in the world, radiated a genuine kindness that felt like a familiar relative's love. The heartache lies in realizing that behind the cascade of laughter he gifted us, there lay his own struggles and battles. It's a testament to the complexity of human existence, where someone who offered so much happiness could also face inner turmoil. As the curtains fall on life's stage, we're left pondering the mysteries of what lies beyond. While the answers elude us, one can't help but hope that Robin Williams gets the same kind of love and satisfaction he so effortless spread to us all. Perhaps in that enigmatic realm, he can rejoice with the sound that is the ecco of his own joy and laughter. Life isn't perfect, he made mine a lot better.
Favourite is a hard call. If we could choose favourite scenes it's easier, like the opening Good Morning Vietnam radio show, or Mrs Doutbfire when he says he does voices 😅 Good will hunting and farting in her sleep. Id say the top spot goes to One hour photo, totally caught me off guard in terms of the tone of the movie compared to what I was used to.
