Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is directed by J.J. Abrams and produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams and Michelle Rejwan. Callum Greene, Tommy Gormley and Jason McGatlin serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Chris Terrio & J.J. Abrams and the story is by Derek Connolly & Colin Trevorrow and J.J. Abrams & Chris Terrio, based on characters created by George Lucas. 🎬🎉Star Wars fans read this!! ROS Final Battle: Rey is knocked back by Palpatine Palpatine says "you cant defeat me! I'm all the Sith!" ...and then you see Darth Maul appear behind Palpatine, Then Count Dooku, Then maybe another Sith, and finally Darth Vader Then Rey on the floor, looking to the Stars pleads and says: "be with me" ....and then, Obi Wan appears behind Rey, then Ashoka, Qui Gon Jin, Windu, Yoda, Luke and Finally Anakin So then the camera pans out and the audience sees a line of Sith and a line of Jedi Then Rey gathers strenght, rises up and says "and Im all the Jedi" She raises her lightsaber up to the stars (like the original StarWars poster) Then all the Jedi throw their lightsabers towards Rey's blue lightsaber an then we see for the first time Reys lightsaber turn the Gold color Then all the Sith get angry and throw their lightsabers at Rey and Rey's Gold lightsaber desintegrates all those red lightsabers, Palpatine gets blinded by the clash So Rey penetrates Palpatine with the Gold lightsaber saying "The force is with the Jedi" And the battle ends. With this ending we would have seen: Luke Skywalker in his iconic ROTJ black outfit and a green lightsaber, we would have seen Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker and all the major Sith and the Major Jedi back on screen one final time!

@@RW_CreativeMedia You sir, are an idiot, sorry! Go watch the making of The Phantom Menace, its about an hour long! Attack of the Clones the same, there are 1-2 hours of behind the scenes material for each of the prequels (unlike for these Disney movies)! Half the sets were miniature models in Episode 2, in Phantom Menace they even built ALL the Podracers in real size! These new movies have at least the same ammount of CGI and greenscreen stuff as the prequels, if not more, they just dont show you everything! You know, back when the prequels came out alot of this was brand new tech, so ofcourse that was all George Lucas was talking about. Nowadays people dont care anymore, Disney knows how Star Wars fans think about CG and Greenscreen stuff, so they show you puppets and real sets instead in their behind the scenes material, maybe dont buy into all the Disney marketing, ya know?!

Despite all of the negative hate, I agree with you. Adam followed the script marvelously, and he worked with what he had. It's not always the actor that causes the story to sour and leave a bad taste, but how the characters are portrayed by the writer. The sequels didn't hold up to everyone's expectations, and that's okay. But these actors put their best into what they had to work with, that's what matters most.

Isn't entirely true. When Endgame was made all actors got to shoot their scenes but never knew the entire script. That way they could prevent spoilers or scripts being leaked as they wasn't allowed to discuss or share with one another. So the only time they all knew about the film is when they got to see the premiere. A prime example is Tom Holland, can't trust him with anything with Marvel lol.

This movie is art. I am actually enjoying in this triology. Like a robot fan I like this classical R2D2 and recruiters like BB-8 and D/O. D/O looks fun. I also see two other robots next to D/O so I hope they will also them used. Btw D/O sound like "part" ("dio") on Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian and Montenegrin and looks like "od - " like "from - ".

This was.....probably the best of the films since Lucas did them. The ending was cathartic, because it brought me back to the theater in 1977......at age 10 watching Luke stare into those twin Tatooine suns. Very emotional ❤️

I'm with you on that. I enjoyed it, too. I'm satisfied with how it wrapped up, and I especially felt that JJ did an excellent job with Leia. I do wonder, however, how different this would have been if Rian Johnson had not decided to do whatever he wanted (with Kathleen Kennedy's permission) instead of staying within the trilogy outline given to him at the beginning.

I was skeptical walking into the theater for this film especially after what they did with the last one. All I can say is, I'm very happy how this trilogy and saga has concluded. J.J Abrams has certainly delivered what the fans wanted and more. Only thing I think would have been nice to see is having a force ghost of all the generations of jedi at the end of the film: Yoda, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Anakin and Luke. This is definitely now one of my favourite Star Wars movies alongside Rogue One.

I enjoyed the film. The one thing I wished they did was that Ben Solo became one with the force and joined all the other force ghosts. Darth Vader died a happy death helping his son(and he was brought back as anakin in his jedi robes). Ren also died knowing he saved Rey and that he could join his parents in peace. As well as this, Rey buried both Leia's and Luke's lightsaber where Luke was born not Leia.

Christopher Vento I enjoyed the theme surrounding the emperor and how he was the embodiment of all the Sith that came before him. I loved kylos redemption and his come to the realization of what he did to his dad. I loved Luke’s return to being the Jedi we once knew him as rather than an uninterested hermit. I felt that Reys heritage was rushed but made sense considering how strong she was made to be. I’m happy that Rey has respect for the Skywalkers to bury their stuff where it all began. I think the emperor went out like a wimp, but the story had to finally end and it had to be done one way or the other. Kylo has the most definitive story arc that felt very well rounded and almost perfect.

Christopher Vento Anakin fulfilled his prophecy. The emperor in 9 clearly states that he was killed so the prophecy of Anakin destroying the Sith came true. He crippled the sith legacy in such a way that palpatine had to go into hiding for 30+ years. Anakins acts destroyed the empire and forever inspired his descendants, like Kylo, Leia and Luke to fight on even tho Luke went into some hiding. If it weren’t for Anakin darth sidious would have become all powerful and the galaxy would be enthralled forever. But no Anakin redeemed himself, saved his son and gave his descendants the will and ability to vanquish the very sith that he had destroyed, defeated, and utterly smashed. You can hear when all the Jedi of the past joined with Rey and gave their power to her she became all Jedi. You can hear Anakin say “bring balance as I once did.” So Anakin did bring balance. Rey with the motivation and power of Anakin + the Jedi destroyed what was left of sidious. So it’s safe to say that Anakins character arc and prophecy wasn’t destroyed. He did bring balance to the force. Just not in the physical way we all thought he did-but through the force itself 30 years later and his legacy.

Did they say "a thousand" in english??? That's interesting. In german they said "Ich bin alle Sith" and "Ich bin alle Jedi" wich means "I am ALL Sith Lords" and "ALL Jedi".
