I like the monthly events for character releases as well, but since the northern hemisphere is in peak vacation season, I'm sure some folks appreciate the safety of not getting screwed if they are away for a while. I think it's getting overlooked how many back to back energy events we are having. Last week was the 2nd of 2 ISO events, and now we have back to back campaign energy events. Are they trying to prevent hoarding? Make us blow our cores ? Perhaps a bit of both.....
Hey Paul, yeah I guess you are right with all the holidays. It’s definitely not being overlooked and I’m sure they are trying to stop the hoarding but I think now it’s the job for people like myself to weed out the events that are worth skipping and hoarding for the next event. Congratulations on the seven star Old Man Logan comrade, very impressive. I managed to reach five stars, which I'm happy enough with. Now need to sort my teams for when the scourge runs next, would love to know who you used & how big they were. A bit disappointed there's no month-long character too but does mean I can start rebuilding my resources again after an intensive FTP roster boost recently.

Not at all. I think what people don’t see is the difference between having 2 members of a team and 3/4. Arena is still the number one place to spend your resources.
Watch them slowplay us on Annhilators to the point that Thanos Endgame's F2P event is probably only in December. Or whenever 2 days before the legendary that Annhilators star-gate has their Trial. Calling it the Annihilator initiative and NOT offering Annhiliator shards in the month-long is disgusting, and no those orbs right at the end there don't count. Gotta make sure no F2P dares set foot in the top50 of any arena shard, that's for spenders only. No no, what they're going to do is call the month-long Annihilators Initiative and then offer shards for the outgoing arena team instead, can't even be kind enough to boost our already permanently worse Illuminati, in other words give us anything of competitive benefit.
No I don’t think that they are going to “slow play us” just because they have two more teams that we know about that need to be released. I do admit not having a new Annihilator member as the month long is poor but what if we get two week long events for Gladiator and Gorr and then Thanos is the next month long after the next three weeks? I would beg to differ about the arena though currently I’m still in the top 10 of my arena shard F2P. Is it struggle? Yes. Will I eventually be booted out of it by the spenders in the shard and their Mephisto’s? Yes. But it is achieveable.
