E. Michael Jones has been sitting in the pew behind me at my church off and on for the last 7 years and I never realized it. Ive never really had the chance to talk to him about anything as I just found out who he actually is. But I will say he is a bit of an awkward fella but very nice. He’s always smiling and waves at my 3 year old son. And he frequently shows up to Mass wearing a tweed suit with a bow tie and sandals. Haha!
Among thousands of men, dr Jones is the bravest and faithful to the principle. I salute his courage. Blessed with wisdom and erudition, speaks out for many like me.
@@maxsmith695 This is too abstract to be meaningful. Obviously you think it's bad that they think the way they do. WHY do you think it's bad? This predetermined guilt rather than charitable dialectic may be the entire problem with the modern world: pride.
@@maxsmith695 The fact you’d condemn someone because they admire the insight of another simply because he’s admired by someone you disagree with politically says a lot about our pathetic and misguided generation. In light of the Ethan Hawke-directed movie about Flannery O'Connor, I'd love to hear his take on Southern Gothic Horror and Flannery in particular. I wonder if that would interest him as a topic.

Thank you. As a fan of the horror movie genre (when I was a teenager in the 80's), I found this fascinating and I'm just reading another book by E. Michael Jones: Degenerate moderns. Monsters from the id is very rare and expensive but I think I'm going to buy it anyway. By the way I couldn't hear the name of the man who according to Mr Jones invented (?) "catharsis".
I wish I could hear Dr. Jones' critique of Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth, which actually has some sense of historical value in regard to Spain. I love Spain especially because of Garabandal.
Remember the Thalidomide horror show? It preceded Roe v. Wade. People said, "Those babies are monsters!" I think "Rosemary's Baby" came out around that same time. People then were told artificial contraception should be made legal. I might be getting the timeline a little off, but all those things seemed to happen in a short period of time.
Wordsworth was a spy on the continent. See The Hidden Wordsworth by Kenneth R. Johnston This does not make him any less great as a writer, but -- that's clearly what he was.

Shelley and Byron were both supporters of the American as well as the French Revolutions and were members of the transatlantic republican movement, as it is often called. Shelley had agitated in England extensively for the cause of the Irish and had been subjected to assassination attempts as a result; he was also interested in physical science and was in general an advocate of human development; Byron likewise, though an hereditary peer, early on took up the cause of the welfare of working people, giving an impassioned and brilliant speech in Parliament; he later functioned as a sort of unofficial envoy to Greece in its war of independence against the Ottomans, and, contrary to what is sometimes imagined, was in no way acting out a silly fantasy, but was instead engaged in very intelligent, well-judged, and realistic diplomatic and military actions -- for the cause of liberation from oligarch despotism, in this case represented by the Turks. Both Shelley and Byron were probably assassinated by the oligarchs for their genuine activity on behalf of what we would now call human rights -- the basic vision enshrined in the American Constitution and Bill of Rights. (The usual narratives of how they died -- in Shelley's case supposedly in a boating accident, in Byron's by a supposed fever -- are both highly suspicious when examined in detail.) Whatever faults they may have had as persons, they were both, besides being geniuses, heroic individuals passionately dedicated to the rights and welfare of others.
