Dr Williams can you please do an episode for those of us that's has to travel to you an how to aftercare when we comes back home.also what to expect when you coming by yourself. An what's your recommendations for a patient .who has to do it alone.thank you .an also if taking ginger shorts every day an herbs is dangerous before surgery also what's your thoughts on arnica tablets for pain
I am currently recovering on my own after a TT in another country. Most if not all vids mention the "support system" that I do not have. Planning was key for me and I'm doing fine, but I feel I had to invent the wheel to by my own support system. I'm even thinking of doing a vid on this for us going solo.
@@lisakaye3919 What do you feel lost about at 4 weeks? I'm 1 week post-op and just came home from abroad. I have things rather clear, thanks to research and actively questioning my surgeon.
@@Shrimp459 Ah, well I didn't have a BBL (I'm a man) but a tummy tuck which is the topic of the video. Therefore sitting on the airplane wasn't an issue. Dr William has commented on 2 of my previous comments so I recommend asking him in one of his BBL videos.
Thank you doctor Williams for all the information on the TTS and BBL Surgery and complications. You’re my Ogee doctor. I am waiting patiently . God bless you my lord!🙏🙏👍👍
I got a tummy tuck and abdominalplasty past February. So far so good, I'll admitt I do get shocks up my abs when doing abs. And I feel like the Dr could've done a better job but I'm working with the outcome of the surgery
Thank you for the thorough explanation. I’m 3 1/2 weeks post op and having complications. Wound got infected and opened up. It’s a significant wound and I’m doing wet to dry. My doctor is addressing accordingly, but the mental toll is pretty traumatic. Your explanations put me at ease in between appointments.
Wound healing problems can be very frightening for a patient as they don't expect them and then once they happen it can be a worry that they won't heal. They all heal!! The problem is they heal slowly and there is nothing we can do to speed them up and this can lead to depression. Just remember they all heal and they do so slowly but they will heal.
Absolutely RIGHT! On June 2022 New Life used J-Plasma on me …the results were awful, disappointed and devastated. Correct there is warning by FDA against J-Plasma! After a year later my body look awful and NEVER improved! I have so much respect for you as a Surgeon and teacher….regret not doing my procedure with you!
@@butterflyygyrlsworld5106 you better DO NOT GO! There is a lot of people that don’t share their stories!!! I wish I can share my pictures to the world!! On the day of the procedure, I never saw Dr Nosrati in the operating room, which was unsettling. I had paid for a Lipo 360 with abdominal etching, but what I ended up with was far from what I had expected. The next day, I was horrified to find tubes inserted in my abdomen and excess fat still present. Instead of a contoured look, I looked like a BOTCHED balloon
Absolutely love this, hoping to get this surgery done in December 2023. Have Keloid skin, plan to get steroid shots to help calm them down. But like the physician i want the shape.
Hi Dr. Williams! Great video! I love watching your videos, It tells me you not only care about your patients but other patients outcome and I love that! ❤❤ I got a tummy tuck on December 9th 2021 amd I love my results. Unfortunately I have dog ears and I never known what that was until watching your videos. Please let me know what are the next steps for me to take. I'm looking to get lipo 360 and I would love for you to do my work because I know I'm in good hands and my results will be phenomenal!!!!!!
Dr Williams, so happy i came across your videos they are so informative, i'll be saving all that i see. I want/need a tt so bad. This info really helps. Thank you!😊
Thank you for this very informative video. I am a little worried as I am two weeks post op and im still draining. I had some redness going on above my incision and my Doctor drained it out. There was no pus. I was given antibiotics. Bu im just concerned that my draining is not going down. I still have my drain in.
Oct 3 2023.. had Tummy Tuck/Lipo and muscle repair. Day 10.. went by ambulance to hospital. He perforated my colon. Isn’t there a way a surgeon checks to make sure the colon is ok!?Hip area was really red around day 4. Dr. Was NOT able to see me day 3 post op as he ended up having surgery (I was NOT informed about his wakeboarding injury) the day after he performed my surgery. 6 surgeries later, a Picline, 3 weeks in a hospital bed..and a colonoscopy bag.. I made it out alive. Are surgeons not required to inform their patients if they are Injured? Sure upped my surgery risk. Filing a complaint.
My mom had a tummy tuck and she is having major dehisence. She thinks she caused it by falling asleep with an ice pack on her belly. It was numb so she couldn't feel it. Fast forward to today almost 4 weeks post op she has a wound vac on her stomach and had to have a huge steak size piece of skin cut off her abdomen. For anyone thinking of getting surgery DONT LEAVE AN ICE PACK ON FOR TOO LONG! Although we don't know if that's what caused it because her boob is also healing poorly, and she has a wound vac there too. Ice packs can cash frost bite and tissue death if left on too long.
Yes I have seen that before with burns where the burned area is insensate so people can't feel the ice pack and they can actually cause a deeper burn with the ice pack. Same for all surgical areas. Ice is great but it has to be monitored carefully and if you don't have sensation then it has to be timed.
Hi Dr Williams , intelligent video, I love to watch you on RU-vid so I can comment.with my long notes. I am waiting for Evaluation from you my doctor.. Thank you
Yes, Dr.Williams is this safe for a 70 years old lady to get a stomata truck medication just take two other shots for my allergies and hemoglobin might be a little low. I’m just wondering is it safe for me
Hi Dr.Williams, I have been trying to reach out to you for the past years. Now I am 59 years young. I was told that I have past the age limit you operate on. Please help me to bring my safe esteem back please. Last year I did mommy make over at Mia Aesthetic but Liposuction was not done. I need your help by coming to you for Ogee Lipo and BBL I have sent complete information to the Jennifer R.
I would like some information which by the way I haven't seen any on this topic but getting massages I understand getting massages after a BBL and lipo but how do the massages go with lipo and BBL and tt
How common is hemophilia in the world of plastic surgery? I see more information about risks blood clot formation than bleeding out. Is hemophilia typically a disqualifying risk for having surgery?
Had u had patients that want a tummy tuck because they had big appendix scar like the 🦎 scar from the belly button and down..my mother is 50 she had a appendix when she was 3 years old back in the days they would do a big scar she has never gone to the ⛱️ and she wants a belly button cz she dosen't have one..we had ask 3 surgeon but they never done one with appendix scars 🦎they are kind of scared cz they don't know if skin is stuck in abdomen muscles 😏🤷🏻♀️..but my mother had her normal pregnancy her stomach grew ..can you talk about this plz 🙏
I have done many, many tummy tucks with those scars. It was very common in Cuba to have that incision for an appendectomy and GYN surgeries. It is usually not an issue as that scar is completely removed with a tummy tuck.
Thank u for allinformation. Just about to get tummy tuck and breast reduction and I know nothing as my doctor told me nothing but sure asking for the money
Im curious to know if you’ve ever had a patient who developed holes in their draining tube…? I did and it only drained for a week or less. We taped the holes and it drained a little more for two more days. Days after drain was taken out, I developed an infection that looks like cellulitis.
The holes didn't develop. Those holes are in the drain--that's how they come--they are usually inside the body and that's how the fluid enters the drain. However, if the drain holes are VISIBLE then the drain is not in the correct position and air will go INSIDE the body. It is not supposed to. The drain is closed and only sucks fluid from inside to the outside. Once you can see the holes it is contaminated. I was reading of you taping of the holes etc I was thinking 'oh you are going to get an infection' and then two sentences later I read you developed an infection. That's why.
I will do a TT after lipo. Yes, but sometimes it is not possible because of the scarring after the liposuction so I would have to see you in person to say.
Question regarding the numbness. Does that eventually subside? Im seeing alot of people at various stages, including past 1 year still having numbness. This kind of worries me about tje surgery.
Usually the numbness does get better but it is always there. It is true for ANY surgery--when you cut through the skin it cuts the nerves and you can have longterm numbness.
I would consult with your hematologist for this question. They are the experts and they can tell you exactly your risk and develop a strategy to mitigate your risk.
Hello Dr.William I will be having a TT with you in December, do you recommend getting the home sequential for after surgery along with the walking of course?
@@DrWilliamMiami thanks dr. William. That happened to me due to not being able to fully expand my lungs because of how tight my muscles were. It was very scary and end up admitted to the hospital for few days after surgery.
I had hernia and it's not closed. The doctor was able to put it back in but he left it open until I could get surgery. But, he also said it may close on its own... is that something to be concerned about?
Hernias don't tend to close on their own. If a baby has a small umbilical hernia we usually given them 5 years for it to close and if not repair it. However for patients older than 5 years old hernias will not close on their own.
I have never done a reverse TT, but I would imagine there are complications that are common between the two operations as for every surgery. For example: bleeding and infection are a risk for every surgery. But then every surgery has their own unique complications as well. For example bleeding is a low risk for a breast augmentation, but you can develop a capsular contracture which is a complication unique to a breast augmentation. I just don't know the complications for a reverse tummy tuck although I would guess breast distortion is one that may be more common in a reverse tummy tuck than a regular tummy tuck for example.
If patients have had liposuction along with a tummy tuck I suggest my patients get lymphatic massages, but for those who had a simple tummy tuck than I don't think they need massages. Just massages for the areas of liposuction.
Am sorry for being off side but am inquiring on something that's bringing insecurities in some of my friends, how can one correct the calv muscles wic appear to be muscular yet she is a woman? Can exercise help? Or it needs surgery? Pliz help me doctor
Hi I had breast aug after losing 6cm of tissue from Pagets and the surgeon put an implant under the muscle of the affected breast and lifted the other The prob is the affected breast is still smaller and the lifted one is scared really bad the incision is long and crocked it dehissed and left an itchy keloid and im really really bothered by the results. any suggestions
I would go and speak to your surgeon. Sometimes with complicated cases where you are having two different operations on two different breasts it might take more than one surgery to get everything right.
Hello Dr.William .My PS has not stitched my abs together as much above the navel as below, I can see it and I can feel them, what can be done about it, does it require a new tummy tuck. 10 years ago I had my first tt the first night, the first night I threw up extremely much and it destroyed or tore my stomach muscles to pieces at the navel, it was not repaired so over several years the bulge on my stomach got bigger and bigger. after 10 years I asked for a new tt, the plastic surgeon doesn't sew my stomach muscles back together and only opens me up to the navel, she says my muscles are a little thin at the bottom of the stomach and inserts mesh. After the operation, the result is exactly the same as before the operation. 1 year later I ask her to do another tt I ask her to sew my abs together and do a full tt this time she opens me up to just above the navel and sews my abs together from the navel down but she doesn't sew the stomach muscles together from the navel upwards, so now I have a huge problem my stomach bulges out above I can see it is because the stomach muscles are loose. After the last operation, I told her I couldn't feel she had sewn my muscles together above the navel, not a single pain, or indication of repair of the muscles and up what can I do now, how many tt can be done on the same person, is it is necessary to open myself up completely again. I need some good advice . My weight is 61 kg my
What would make a person drain very dark fluid for two weeks after a tummy tuck with two drains? My blood never lightened in color but I had to get the drains removed and always wondered why after 2 weeks it never got lighter
Tummy tattoos....I have a rather large tattoo of a death head moth that takes up most of the space from just above my belly button to just under my breasts. How do i find out how a tummy tuck might make the tattoo look afterword?
I'm two months in PO with fibrosis i don't know where to go to get rid of them? any places you recommend? I live close enough to south fl? @@DrWilliamMiami its hard to find a good place.
Deep vein thrombosis is a very complicated subject but I would say that it is more dependent on the patient factors than it is just on the type of operation. We know orthopaedic procedures carry the highest risk of blood clot along with heart and vascular surgery procedures but patient factors are also critical.
How common is hemophilia in the world of plastic surgery? I see more information about risks blood clot formation than bleeding out. Is hemophilia typically a disqualifying risk for having surgery?
You won't see a lot written about hemophilia and plastic surgery because we typically do not operate on patients with hemophilia because of the increased risk of bleeding.
Hi Dr William, can you do a video of what it feels like if the stitches on the MR failed? I laughed pretty hard yesterday and I felt a little pop and today I woke up very sore and with pain on my upper abdomen 😢
