What about this, very generic and a bunch of huts, many of their own are trying to make it like the island version of Dubai, outside the glamour facade it lacks cuIture, not allowed go outside the island or wear bikinis. It is very radicaI, locals broke ancient statues, have jehad protests and attempt to assassinate. Please don’t feed places like this. The Caribbean is popular for its water and French Polynesia is the OG in water bungalows.
My wife and I just had a vacation at the Ritz-Carlton Maldives resort. It was a once-in-a-lifetime dream. Every expectation was exceeded. It was exactly the vacation we needed. I do recommend doing your research on how to get there and purchase travel insurance during the ongoing COVID pandemic. We ended up having to change our plans, instead of having a couple of days in Singapore, we ended up transitioning through Istanbul on Turkish Airways. Such a wonderful airline and the transit lounge for business or first class in Istanbul airport is one of the best in the world. Unexpected luxury. If we had to change one thing, we would have planned for a few days in Istanbul. There is a direct Turkish airline flight from Istanbul direct to Mali Maldives, the capital of the Maldives. Back to the resort, there simply are not enough words to express the relaxation attained in the very definition of luxury, for there are no words that can do it justice. You must experience it for yourself. We visited Mid-March to Early April. The weather was nearly perfect with occasionally warm showers, and plenty of brilliant, hot sunshine. For us, it was the perfect time of year. We stayed indoors during the showers and swam in the oceans during the sunshine. Nothing better. If you get the chance in your life to do vacation here, just do it.👍👍👍👍👍

Absolutely gorgeous! I checked pricing for the last week in September 2022 (M-F). The one-bedroom showed first was $2,400/night! It went up to $5,900/night for the 2-bedroom. It went up to $31,000/night for the 3-bedroom (not kidding). But, if I win the lottery - I’m down.
The ritz maldives is the only resort with a full glass panel with minimal obstruction of the ocean view lying on the bed..definitely on my bucket list!

Just got back from 21 days there … It was Sad to see 😢… Only 18 guests on the whole stay… No one is visiting… it was like a ghost town… The Notice board was filled with people trying to get there money back on the private Villas so much so they were selling for less than 50% of what they paid for them. looks like Covid Restrictions and the High Cost of living is Hitting hard… I was Lucky as my Boss treated me for the 25 years of service by sending me on this holiday as a Thankyou… I walk all over the Island and for hours didn’t see a sole at times … It was Crazy, I talked to the staff and they said they were not allowed to answer questions on why it was so quiet ….😢
the Ritz Kids place is the coolest feature of this resort in my opinion. I've never seen anything like it even with luxury resorts that have 100x the size and land.
Our kids were fond of the Ritz Kids, it is truly amazing place for kids. In our opinion 3 best kids clubs in Maldives that we saw last summer were at the Ritz-Carlton Malidves, Soneva Fushi and Patina. Soon we will release video of these hotels too.
@@CreativeTravelGuru You're telling me that there were two more resorts that had similar kids places in the Maldives. That's incredible especially when you consider that there are luxury resorts that have far more space and land than the Maldives and yet have no such play areas for kids. I'm very impressed by the Maldives.

Уважаемые товарищи! Люди едут на мальдивы не за золотыми велосипедами, инновационными виллами с крошечными бассейнами и не за высокой кухней. Люди едут туда за великолепным домашним рифом с его многочисленными разнообразными обитателями. Строительством своего отеля вы его убили. Вот и выходит, что те кто занимался этим строительством ничего не понимает в желании людей и не может сделать всё как надо. Я от вас это не ожидал.
Loving the beauty and relaxing vibes and scenery. Nice the drone idea to be able to watch the wildlife in the sea. Also wonderful to see that there are non alcoholic fresh smoothies/cocktails and drinks and vegan foods on the menu. Wonderful to see that more and more resorts, hotels and reataurants are transitioning into a more healthy lifestyle; meaning vegan foods, smoothie drinks and activities. Thank you so much.
Beautiful video! The cinematography was stunning, the colors were vibrant and the background music was very relaxing/soothing. Everything flowed beautifully and it made you feel like you were right there. I look forward to experiencing it for myself......

Thanks for the great video, sure looks beautiful! As a older guy…if you stay in a overwater suite can you call the front desk to have a representative pick up in the golf buggy to drop you off near the hotel dinner restaurants? Walking long distances ain’t as easy as it used to be! 😄
Thank you for your comment. Yes, you can definitely ask for that if you stay in The Ritz-Carlton Maldives. This service is provided to all the guests. Of course, it may take some time to wait a buggy, but not so long.
Probably the most stunning ocean views of any resort. Loved the sit out overlooking the incredible water ! And the spacious water villas!Thanks for posting! We living in India have such easy access to this Paradise ! Particularly living in the south, made a couple of trips there,didn’t want the trip to end !

Its not a “paradise”. Its a manufactured lookalike. I have been there on my own sailboat. Its a almost prison….but sure ..do what you like and have your own experiences. 😆. I just have to say what i saw. Other sailors at the same time had more positive experiences.

There are a plenty of water activities so, believe us, it is easy to find an activity for not to be bored. If you do not like water activities, there is an amazing Spa with enormous list of treatments and indoor activity centre.
Beach bungalows that look like factory buildings, all these concrete structures… what a disfigurement of such a wonderful place! There are way more beautiful resorts than this one.

А мне там не особо понравилось, скучно, может быть не стоило ехать на 3 недели. Ещё очень тяжелый перелёт, до Москвы 2 часа самолёт, потом до Мале на мальдивах 7 часов лететь, от туда ещё на маленьком хиленьком самолёте 1 час до ближайшего острова, и ещё пол часа на яхте😥

We wouldn't agree as it depends on what resort you are staying in. There are many resorts where you will find a good variety of activities both on land and in the ocean.
Funny how they never mention that the Harbor is full of floating trash. What do they do with the trash from all those tourists? even bigger question...what do they do with the sewage? Or the huge diesel generators for electricity . Out of sight, out of mind.
Would be interesting to see how the energy is produced, what about rubbish ? and to have a look at the back side, it would certainly never come to my mind to spend one night on this island......
