As a Carolina fan and hs student I’ve always hated Clemson my grandfather raised me as a gamecock and I will always root for them and never have sympathy for a tiger. Forever to thee

I don’t comment on a lot of videos, but my dad played for the Tigers from 82-86 and I have to say this is one of the best videos on RU-vid. Should make an updated one with the TLaw and Watson eras. Go Tigers!

that way. I also am not a troll. I am a Gamecock and am proud of our team and university. I'm not one that pulls against Clemson when they are not playing us. The only time I pull against them is when they play us or App State where I went to college. In fact, I hope they win all their games except ours. Again, I wish you well in your bowl and congratulate you on another great season. This will be the last I will say on the matter. Again, a well made video. I just feel it is a second rate game.

Going back to the series record is like Clemson fans' security blanket. The way i see it is until the series is over the record doesnt matter but until then the current winner is who is on top.

Not often you can see a fan of one school or the other put together a balanced video that celebrates both teams pretty much equally and really details the rivalry. Great job!

I meant no disrespect about the video or either team. In fact if you read my response I made a special reference that I thought the video was well done and I still feel that way. I've just lived in other places and the rivalrys there are not nearly as nasty as this one. I mean people on both sides have had fights and even killed each other because of this game. It needs to end and end soon. But, I know that is not likely to happen even though I have found more Clemson folks beginning to feel

This is a great video but why did you show CJ Spiller running the kick back in the '09 game? SC dominated that game so I thought you should show some of SC's good plays.

I felt the brawl ruined the video. There's a skrimish in 1983, but the 2004 brawl was a disgrace to both universities and put a stain on the video and the state of SC. It was in there for many of the rough cuts, but I finally decided to cut it out. Plus all the footage was pretty poor of it. As far as the field goals, I went into this video saying, I will not post field goals!

I am a proud member of the bicentennial class of USC, and have always enjoyed the Palmetto Bowl. I just wish both Carolina and Clemson fans would treat this as just a football rivalry and not take it so seriously. At the end of the day, it's a game. And we are all citizens of the same state. Chill out and just have fun with it, but tomorrow we're all Sandlappers.

I'm sorry, I had not intended to respond again to this video. Again, I think you did a great job and were fair to both sides. But, I went back to the interview with Coach Sweeny where he said this is not a rivalry, it's domination and no 3 game winning streak with change that. To be fair to the coach I don't think the question should have been asked especially since he was preparing for the ACC championship which you guys won. But, even he does not consider it a rivarlry. He is rignt.

Great video. A few things I think are missing. Tanneyhill signing the paw FG in 2000 a little more of 2003 2005, when Clemson gets the winning first down and Whitehurst came up and held "4" over his head 2006, missed field goal 2007, made field goal

The game is played on the field for a reason. Talk never wins games. Trying to be respectful is a waste of time between these fan bases. Everybody wants to win and somebody will lose, but the HATRED I have for South Carolina Football and most of their fanbase requires prayer and repentance to God.

How can you say this rivalry is second rate? It's one of the oldest rivalries in the nation. I will say it has been very underrated because historically neither team has made much impression on college football year in and year out. Both teams have outstanding coaches. This game will garner much much more attention as each team stays in the national headlines of college football in the coming years. I'm gonna put my money on ESPN College Gameday coming to Williams-Brice next year for this game.

tajh didnt hold us back from anything. I'm thankful for every snap he took at Clemson. and it aint just because its thanksgiving. that guy drove the ship for some good years. certainly was a part of the program's incredible climb to prominence.

What?? Firstly, it's not yours or our fault that you knew stupid people out of state or in the Navy. Secondly, why would anyone want this series to end? I'm a die-hard Gamecock, but I respect Clemson for packing their stadium full every week just like us. On gameday when we both play at home, you have almost 170,000 people packing Williams-Brice and Memorial Stadium. I think that's something to be proud of, not to mention bragging rights and everything else that goes with it. Wake up.

The video was well done but this game is a second rate rivalry at best. I was in the Navy for 8 years and lived out of the state for over 10. Most folks I spoke with about the game didn't even know Clemson was in SC. They thought it was in Georgia. Someday and hopefully soon the series will end and we can just go our separate ways. Good luck to Clemson in their bowl game and congratulations on another good season and congratulations to our Gamecocks and good luck in our bowl.

loiterbro if u wanna know the truth Clemson has a record against SC that SC will never catch up to in a million years. Clemson owns SC and they know it so not matter what SC will always be left behind. GO TIGERS!!!!
