You can still headshot animation cancel on Cait tho, you just need to move between shots - Riven's animation cancels work the same. And even then you can partially cancel Cait's headshots into each other just by queueing them.

@@mattphyx headshot auto cancel was two headshots immediately, now its two shots that have a timer in between. This was removed because it was a "bug" while riven's animation cancels are still here.

@@randompurrson4527 again, if you input a move command between the headshots, you can effectively cancel the slight delay between shots, and shortly after her cancels got removed, they partially added them back by allowing her to queue headshots and making her attack cooldown shorter when using multiple headshots. Riven's cancels are still in the game and untouched because she was designed with this kind of mechanic intentionally. Cait's cancels got added by accident when they reworked her passive, which initially allowed her use multiple headshots basically instantly, before recieving a minimal delay timer between them, which was called a machine gun Cait. The version of animation cancels she had with her headshots afterwards for years in practice worked basically the same as the ones she has now, after her ASU, and with the changes she got shortly after ASU she can even cancel headshots a bit faster by compared to before, by (once again) moving between each headshot, so you can effectively animation cancel an animation cancel, since the traditional headshot cancel is now basekit and you don't need to do any werid stuff like spamming attack move next to a target for it to work, like it used to work. Tho there was a short period in Cait's history where she had no headshot cancels after her ASU for a single patch.

Machine Gun Cait was removed, because using multiple high damage-long range attacks at once was simply unhealthy, and was a byproduct of new passive. Riven's cancels were never bugs or unintended, she was specifically designed to be able to do stuff like that. And besides, Cait can also double, or even triple cast her own basic abilities, which paired with headshot animation cancels can still result in really fast long-ranged burst with up to 4 headshots + Q in quick succession.

@@NewesSkiller I've learned spacing, so it's kinda easy to beat her unless it's Riven OTP. However her E is bs, gives too much shield for how short that cooldown is.

​@@h4imon because it isn't intended, any other champ that have animation cancel or double cast is treated like a bugged champ and riot will remove it (cait headshot animation cancel is an example) The thing is that riven is so weak without the bugs that riot is scared of fixing her
