That's a tree 🌳 planted by the rivers of water 💧 that brings forth it's fruit in it's season; his leaf 🍃 shall not whither and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
It is actually the River that made good ground for and sustains the cotton tree. The flying seed from a cotton tree was lucky to fall on the Riverhead (fertile ground). Conceptually the River is older than the tree. When the people discovered the Riverhead the cotton tree had already grown matured.
It's very simple. One of the roots of the tree must have ruptured a rock underground causing the upward flow of the underground water to the surface, just beneath the tree. Not as if the water is coming out from the tree directly. Nice documentary. McCarthy beach is a nice place to be.
Brilliant.I agree with you.Belzebub has established his throne here, hence the fealth;he is a king of the flies.People are attracted to darkness than to the giver of Light.
Absolutely! I thought so, too. Lots of underground rivers are naturally pure; they may find their way upward (from what may be called the ",source"). It's just a fortunate and an unusual, event when the tree happens to still be standing(!) "alive", , and still be digging deep downward and further. It's a blessing for these people, shouldn't they abuse the river....like all kind of dirt, actually visible all around the so called lieu of blessings; or it just those false beliefs? Uhm! I'm not judging since I honestly don't know! So, someone enlightens me!
Good theory, it could be a natural spring under the tree that the tree has broken rocks etc underneath the tree. If everyone thinks it's a magic tree why trash it with rubbish left from rituals etc? There must be a tree sprite or two living within the tree.
We have been doing that in Nigeria since the dawn of the last ice age. We not only protect trees and entire forest ecosystems in Delta State of Nigeria and in other places. We have genetic blood covenants from our direct ancestors to protect and conserve certain animals. In ancient times each community choose which animals or trees to conserve. Some others had no choice but to protect and also serve them as the avatars of their gods of Kemet. Examples are the crocodile for Sobek who now have other names and the sacred pythons the black god and other snakes representing what you see on the crowns of the gods of Kemet (Egypt) and their royalty. We take conservation into god mode like no other race or peoples do anywhere else in the world besides Indians maybe who don’t eat cows and certain African people who descend from our ancestors in West Africa. Then came the Caucasian oil exploration expeditions with the curse of the black gold on our ancestral lands and half of paradise is heavily polluted today. We have no financial support from anyone. Our peoples just follow the ancient commandments of our ancestors.
Wooow, very impressive story. Nawaoooohh. In Africa we are really blessed, but we don't see how God has blessed us so much. Thanks for Sharing such amazing memories. Well done for your great job 👏👏👏
Wow!! Am from Ghana 🇬🇭 😍 this is my first time watching this channel.....am so astonished.....thank you for taking Africa to the world 🌎...am praying that people will recognise your channel.....the story that you tell...errrh; some are so scary 😨
It is strange to me that the locals who have such high regard for this tree and river, don’t keep the trash and liter picked up and the area clean! Sad!
That's what I said. It's so beautiful there but so much garbage around it. That always breaks my heart when you see these beautiful places littered all around it. Especially because it's such a powerful place to them
True, but they dont use the poisons we do. Candle wax isnt much litter, but some will leave anything that was used in the ritual to solidify the ritual
That's a prejudice response Gloria Smith. It's alot cleaner than the river Thames for example. African and it's people live alot more naturally and clean than us in the West.
I loved this video, I hope one day the world will realise that our planet is our wealth. Living simply being happy, that is how humans were meant to be. When you see the homelessness here in Australia, Drs and other professionals homeless in America, then look at places like this, like the farming community in India and other hard working countries I wonder if they know how beautiful their lives really are. Thank you for sharing such beautiful places 💞🕊🙏.
This is awesome!! That tree is a special tree indeed!! That water is so clear that at first when I saw the little fish swimming around I couldn't even see the water that he was swimming in!! That is as clear as it can get!! Truly amazing!!!
It’s so good to see Neche doing well .i remember when he had 5k subscribers he said he’ll be travelling around Nigeria exploring everywhere, also remembered when he gave gifts to kids in his Town❤️Good luck bro i hope to see you exploring places outside Nigeria
Wow, this is so so beautiful. Africa! We have something, God has indeed been faithful to us and blessed us. It's only our leaders who has disappointed us. May continue to bless and protect Africa my motherland ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🏿
This is one of the branches of river Niger that went underground and had its vent at Umutu/ Umuaja. If you travel along Kwale - Asaba road you will see the trace of it at the long bridge after Ossisa junction. From where it disappeared its water undergo a long process of purification that make it crystal clean. The tree you're seeing there is an accidental tree that happened to take it mineral source from a natural fountain. Please go scientific.
Thank you so much for posting this documentary about the tree and the river. I went to that river from Lagos in 19 89 . The memories of a weekend I send there still in mu life. I would love to go back there when Im in Nigeria . GOD bless you and bless the keeper of the tree.in the name of YESHUA Hamashiach AMEN.
It breaks my heart to see all the ugly junk lying around in such a special place. You could make a video of the people in this area cleaning it up. That would be great!
@@Ingab2 not all people who do rituals are satanic? Their are good people who do rituals for doing good cause. Don’t be so judgemental. You do not have the right your just an ordinary people too. If their is one who’s supposedly to judge us that’s the creator of life I guess.
I know Akure during my teenage years. I will surely visit this beautiful river in my next visit to Nigeria to see this wonders of the nature. I will take some of the water to overseas here.
Water is flowing not from the roots of the tree but from some sort of small spring and this is common in our country. We call it "bukal" in the Philippines.
Wowneche, i believe you are a born again Christian spirit filled, I pray no power of darkness will succeed over your destiny in the name of Jesus amen, you are a "GEM"
There is nothing superstitious about a blessed tree blessed by God which is connected to the tree of life for God's chosen people. The river is not to blame if sick people who believe they will die if they go into this blessed river. One's faith is connected to this tree of living water for evermore.
Thank you so much for this channel and what you do. I was born in Lagos and live in Los Angeles, CA. Looking back and seeing great places I didnt even know we had is an eye opener for me. I am deeply grateful. Reach out to me and I'll like to sponsor one of your trips and travels.
This na Abraka river resort. Use to be do beautiful. Very nice job, they need to give you position in the government for tourism. Because u r doing a good job.
Please, please please, beware of touristic envy and greed to POSSESS THE mystery of this river. Protect her from the ravages of greedy people who would co trip it..
Lovely work, you are doing Sir. An Urhobo friend of mine (from Abraka) who works here is South Africa has told me a lot about this river. It's so nice to finally see a well-put-together video of the place. I hope to visit Delta State one day, but my friend informs me that hijackings are still a problem in your beautiful country. The government must do something about this. Please keep up the good work. I truly like your videos.
That's a nonsense video. You did not even show us where the water on a tree is coming from. That should have been the main theme of your video. Nonsense.
A deep research will lead to the discovery of the fact that the water flows from a rock beneath the tree. Rivers take their sources from a rock and not trees.
Exactly my thoughts. It looks like a mangrove which is full of water pumping from the ground beneath the tree. If it is coming from the root like a fountain or from a trunk, then we can agree to that... otherwise, this theory is a bit doubtful.
I love your video from uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧but I am from Congo I think what you do has inspired me to do the same from my country is good to love and appreciate what God has bless us with I will love to come nigérian so you can bring me to this river thanks bro for your time, energy God bless you ,give you more knowledge and wisdom stay bless I am your number 1fun 🙏🏼🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I remember I was here during my final year in the university as part of tour organized by the faculty of education Delta State University led by Prof. Osakwe
I'm from umutu the next community and my grandmother is from that community. The river is an action of underground water. The water started moved from other communities but shut out at umuja because it is in the lower land. If you go to where that river started there is a hill behind the river to the last community. Sometime ago in 2015 a break forth happened close to idemile about 15 kilometers from that river but did not last long. Between that river Ethiope and adofi river there is a strong underground water system connection. The river taking people is not superstitious it happens life.
I'm from delta state abraka this tree that produced river is it another village close to abraka.. its true the tree 🌳is powerful and lot of people's go there to seek for spiritual help. God is great
There is probably a under ground spring beneath the tree which flows from the tree,if that is so ,then that is very good.spring water is good for drinking.
Is true Some are worship sun, tree, moon,Animal, stones, river, human bening why can't you think that all this things belong to no body except Almighty God c
It is not superstitious it takes lives every yr most especially non indigenes I'm from Delta state that river took the life of my friends husband to be few days to their wedding and many more ... If you're visiting please be careful it's usually occurs once in a yr it's still exist till now
Don't mind them, am from abraka and the river has a female goddess which claim the life of male non indigenes. There are diver which always direct people where not to cross (beach) but most time because they see the under of the river they think the water is not deep and end up draining. Most times some students don't go through the beach so they can't tell which part is deep or not. If you want to enjoy that river in Abraka town just follow the instruction they are placed around the beach to avoid any danger

I hope you didn't collect wife from the river too? You guys have morale to even swim in the same river coming from a tree. It's quite clean and beautiful. I wouldn't mind enjoying fishes from it lol
River Ethiope in Abraka is the cleanest river I have ever seen. If you stand in the bridge in obiaruku that connects the umu Aja river to river ethiope, you will appreciate nature .I enjoyed my stay in Abraka during my undergraduate days and swimming in mc Cathy beach every weekend is really refreshing . I really enjoyed Abraka town way back You are really doing a good job💯💯💯💯 kudos 👍👍👍
