I've been watching you gents for a long time now. One of the reasons I like your content is that I grew up in the UK countryside but have lived in South Korea for 8 years and your vlogs really help with my homesickness. Particularly happy with this episode and the last one as my hometown is Northwich (Barnton) and it's really great to see familiar places but from a different perspective (on the water). Love your content guys! keep it up :)
Mike Robertson who posted below is absolutely right to thank you for the effort which produces these weekly “diary entries”. What you do is A LOT OF WORK. You are both on a continuous “shoot”. The research, the shot list compilation, the running around displacing the camera. Setting things up.... tearing it down. Then comes the viewing, shot selection , editing, voice overs.... final review... uploading. To make matters simpler ... you choose to live and work on a floating craft which involves its own planning and execution. God .... I’m tired just describing it all. Any hoots.... just to say that ... having worked in the television business for many years.... I GET IT ! As James (The Narrowboat that James built) would say... Be well 🇨🇦
Love your blogs. Don't comment too often, because it must take so much of your time replying to everyone. So I'll just say....thanks for creating something so enjoyable to watch. You have an appeal to so many different people that I know personally. Better than anything on television . As an America who loves traveling. I would love to see little things like videos of some of the towns you visit during your travels. Showing places around each town. Historical or anything. Places you shop for food, restaurants, etc.. Great channel guys. Stay safe
Ah, but we are a canal history channel, Larry. We do show the occasional interesting feature away from the water, but we won't be changing our subject. There are plenty of other channels with that type of content which might be of more interest to you.

Another great video guys, Colin, never cease to amaze me with his historical knowledge of the canals you all travel. I always watch out on our local canal in the Midlands thinking I would catch a glimpse of the silver fox - well yesterday I was in *** for a random day out to the museum and went to the pier (didn’t want to because I couldn’t be bothered with the walk) caught the sight of your boat - then I saw you pair! I was going to get your attention but I saw you were deep in conversation with some other people. Anyway took a picture of my young daughter and the Ferris wheel with your boat also :)!

We are supposed to be working in one of those houses that need the boats. They got flooded in january. All the materials have to go across the river in them tiny boats. Only we could get a job in the worlds most awkward house
Oh no! That's so sad. I think I walked through their garden last week on my way from Sutton Weaver to Dutton Locks. They are lovely properties! I was shocked at how high the water had gotten. I hope you get everything sorted. x
It always amazes me the wonderful things that were built in 1800's....what a clever bunch!! Meanwhile my ancestors were ag. labs. toiling away on the land that is now under Heathrow airport. My great grandfather managed to switch direction and he became a traaaaain engineer......for awhile! Love and hugs...belly rub for the lovely Otis.
I cycled yesterday to Dutton Locks to see Chica. Love the story, so I had to check it. Unfortunately I couldn't make nice picture from the path, but there was a lovely lock keeper who told me a lot about Chica. Thanks for the advice guys!
Joe Locke actually was an Irish singer, there's a very entertaining movie about him called "hear my song" starring(among others) Ned Beatty and ❤❤❤Tara Fitsgerald ❤❤❤ . It would be interesting to know if this Joe has something to do with the Dutton viaduct. Btw, the old lock keeper "triming his bush" yeah right....🤣
