The Road to Maysville 

This tune comes to us from one of our musical heroes, John Hartford. It appears on his seminal old-time album "Wild Hog in the Red Brush" (which if you haven't spent some time listening to it with headphones on, you're missing out on something musically important imho). Hartford got this tune from the great KY fiddler J.P. Fraley (who, if you haven't listened to his album Wild Rose of the Mountain, you're also missing out on some truly beautiful music...I'd listen to that album just for the guitar playing!...which is perfect, imho, and performed by his wife Annadeene).
This week we are joined by our good pal Mark Kilianski who you may know as one half of Golden Shoals. We all got up at the crack of dawn in the name of making ephemeral social media content, and took our rig to the shores of Lake Ontario!
