Welcome to an action packed start to our 2024 Summer Road-trip. Steve and Eddie set off on the first leg of their European Motorhome Adventure, leaving the UK and heading straight to the party town of Amsterdam. While the men are relaxing and exploring, Lynds stays at home with the younger boys, and has a "Ducking" disaster on the M1 motorway.

Love it! We love Amsterdam, headed for a 2 week Jaunt to Loire in the caravan on sunday. Hopefully one day we can enjoy a European roadtrip like this. Keep the content coming!

Great Vlogs Steve, you are getting very professional 😊 glad Lyndsy is ok car can be fixed etc, we always travel with water, its a 100 litre tank so if full weighs 100 kilos, nothing in the whole scheme of things, if you have the payload why not, less mpg 😂 as anyone worked out how much less lol, our van is 8.1 metres long and im getting 26/27 mpg towing the car doesnt alter this at all. Keep up the great vlogs, enjoy your trip .

We see lots of comments about Eddie not talking but having watched you for a couple of years now, he's a lot more talkative than he used to be 😂 He seemed to like that Grolsch though, good lad 🍻 Hope Lynds gets better soon, we had a slow bump years ago and my wife qas fine straight away but couldn't climb the atairs at night so make aure George and Harry take care of her

We have spent June in Europe and were completely surprised at how busy the campsites were, more like July/August occupancy levels. (and a very large number of Dutch people evrywhere)

Hey Lynds. Food for thought. In Australia we pay a lot for our car registration each year. The largest part of the cost is the injury component. So, if you are injured in the accident, you need to go see a doctor and talk about your aches and pains. These are documented, so that if you have ongoing problems the insurance will cover costs. Not sure if it is the same in the UK. Kind regards, Stuart

I personally couldn't afford this trip myself at this point in my life, although I get enjoyment out of seeing people who have worked hard to afford their dreams and having the chance to enjoy their life... Was in Holland for a weekend in May and was surprised at the cost of fuel. However the Tesla Supercharger was super cheap at 22 cents per KW. Result 😎 Well worth going for a trip in the VW Buzz

Hi Lynn the insurance will get it fix. My accident the rear wheels where in the back doors after the car behind had been pushed forward into me moving the car 20 feet forward just missing the car in front. Also I was stationary in a line of traffic. The idiot of the accident must have been drunk as the police breathalyzed everybody. After the "Sir please blow into this bag" the police arranged a taxi home with the stuff out of my totaled car.

Hope Lyndsey recovers from her shock and aches and pains. We use Angles Morts plates with tuckers on for the back panel as they don't have to be peeled off. MoHow sell them.

25-27 mpg with your motor home is excellent. I know that’s imperial gallons , but not too much difference from the U.S.
