That’s a very strange detail for sure. It is very strange that Kris’s gets a pop up add in Cyberworld for tips on how to summon a demon for teens. Something really weird is up with them for sure
Two more points for Alvin: 1: Berdly works at the library and says his boss is Ms. Boom. Alvin had access to the library through her, and the classroom because it belonged to his father. 2: Spamton says 'Speaking of communion, did you know that the Knight..." and then he cuts off, starts FREAKING OUT, and apologizes profusely
I forgot about the Spamton one, had no idea about that Berdly fact. Damn even more stuff for Alvin. Everyone discounts him saying he doesn’t have enough plot relevance yet to be The Knight but Noelle and Berdly were also forgettable side characters in chapter 1, of chapter 4 has a Church dark world then Alvin might end up actually being them
Berdly quote is when he wakes up from the Dark World at the end of Chapter 2. Says "Ahhh, going to be late for my shift with Ms. Boom." The only odd thing about this is that he rushes out of the library. Maybe to go home and prepare or something? But we know that's where he works (harassing you about Asriel's late fees) so presumably that's where his shift is.
I want to bring up about how King called the Knight as holy, and how Father Alvin mentioned how Kris was only at the church for fruit juice. Kris doesn't seem like they are an worshipper of the Angel like the rest of their family.
@@Blackrose7_- yeah Kris is absolutely into occult/satanism stuff, they get a pop up add in Cyberworld for “Demon summoning classes for teens”, they’re either naturally just disagreeing with their family’s beliefs or something happened that made them do a 180 and become fascinated with the concepts that defy their family’s beliefs. Also Catty says she and Kris studied Occult together
What do you think of Mayor Holiday as a candidate? She's a top suspect to me. - It looks to me as if Dess is more or less at the center of the plot. Other than Noelle, the Mayor is the closest active character to Dess. - Finding Dess is a possible motive for the Knight. There are hints that the Mayor was very upset with what happened to Dess. The Mayor's not-so-friendly letter to Asgore, who was kicked from the police force. Alphys saying that the Mayor thinks the police is useless and that she instead keeps the town safe on her own. - The Knight being strong and imposing (especially if you think the Knight did enter the ch1 dark world) fits with the description of the Mayor given by Rudolph and Noelle. Regarding her keeping the town safe on her own, it is even possible that she was the one who attacked the bandits found in the jail cell. - With her power as a mayor and seemingly working on her own, she could easily have entered different buildings without anyone noticing she was gone. Susie points out at the library in ch2 that it's weird that it's so empty, the Mayor could have pulled some strings so that people shouldn't be there at the time. Regarding Alvin being the Knight: While this isn't directly related to Alvin I think all the hints at Gerson being involved with the dark worlds are interesting. Other than the points you brought up in the video, Gerson is one of few names Gaster says are interesting. There are also some Gaster-Gerson parallels, like when Alvin comments on how difficult it must be for Alphys to have to replace Gerson. This last point might not mean anything, but King calling his weapon the "Chain of Justice" stuck with me, since it seems to be a name that Gerson came up with as a knight in Undertale.
Yeah I didn’t bring her up because I have plans for another video coming up on The Knight in general, but 100% Mayor Holiday is VERY suspicious. I could see her being The Knight for sure
Casual reminder to make sure whenever you use artwork to credit the artists (in most cases the artist name is in the art so people can easily recognize to whom the art belongs) anyways besides from that great theory Edit: sorry to bother you just some small mistake a lot of new upstart content creators make
I know, I’m doing both, I’ll still have gameplay over it, I just wanted a better background for the gameplay to overlap on than just the fountain from my first video cause it makes the colors blend less
yeah, i totally agree. not everyone watching Deltarune vids must be mega into Toby Fox as a person/super long Undertale/Deltarune fan. imo it was a good intro to the topic.
I believe Berdly and Noelle walked into the library dark world. After all, Susie and Kris walked in, searching for a light switch at first. And the stuff about lying on desk with books strewn about - I chalk it up to the fact that dark worlds dont follow exact physics one could consider normal.
I don't think the Knight is Kris. King mentioned the Knight as holy, and Spamton mentioned the communion thing. Father Alvin brought up on how Kris only went to the church for the fruit juice.
@@Blackrose7_- King mentioned The Foutain as Holy, not The Knight, and Spamton already confirmed he rlly knows nothing abt them, he was just trying to get Kris' attention
i think it doesnt make sense both timeline and satisfaction-wise. also the fact that they opened the Fountain *after* Queen gave everyone a tutorial how to do so
@@TheSoulCalledZuzia "It's the TV dosen't even look like it's plugged in anymore" "It's the TV, looks like it's plugged in" "It's not yet time to wash your hands" "It's a Laptop, someone left it on" the 3 first lines clearly hint at Kris planning on opening the Chapter 3 Before Queen says shit abt it, and the Laptop line clearly shows that The Knight left the Laptop (aka Queen) on so that she becomes the Boss, just like Kris did to the TV, again thying the 2, and the "Noelle and Berdly were in the room while the Fountain was made" Timeline is stupid.
