I have known about 1x1x1x1 since 2020, because of RP2 teasing him. This guy has been teased so much that we thought that maybe we would get a huge battle in the later future, but all we got was this Survive the Jason the Killer crap. Disappointing.
I cant believe how this gave NO BADGE, NO ITEM, NO SATISFACTION. If the sword was free and it gave a badge I would not mind it as much. Hell if the sword was like 150 robux I would still be mad but thats reasonable
Heres my idea for how the boss couldve been: After you put the correct code, the door opens as usual but doesnt close until the sword is picked up. Once the sword (which looks like a classic sword instead of the glitchy sword at the start) is picked up by anyone, everyone that is in Teh Epik Duck basement will have a prompt on their screen asking if they wanna join the fight. If they select no, the entire fight and fighters will not be visible to them and wont get any reward. If they select yes, the people who didnt join the fight arent visible. Heres how the fight goes: Start cutscene (everything will be said as if you are doing this solo): You pick up the sword, and seemingly nothing happens. You attempt to walk out of the room, but suddenly the Classic version of 1x1x1x1 will run past you, stealing the sword, and out of the room and says "Hahaha!!!! Ive finally been freed thanks to you FOOL. I cant wait to have control over Roblox once again!" *a glitchy domino hat teleports in his hand and he puts it on, transforming him into the green and black 1x1x1x1 version, and the sword turns into the Daemonshank. He then teleports you and himself outside of the bunker and shuts Teh Epik Duck* "It feels so GOOD to be BACK! ….What are you doing, approaching me? Pfft, you think you can stop me? Id like to see you try." (Fight start) Phase 1: All of the checkpoints at the spawn of the hub are your "lives". When you respawn from one, it blows up. All connections to other areas from the hub are destroyed, including the game and spawnpoint portals, but the other areas are now merged with the hub island. All the items gained with tix do something in this fight. Bloxiade: once drank, you are faster for a short period of time. Bloxy Cola: once drank, you gain health. Can only be drank during a phase 3 times Chocolate Milk: once drank, you can jump higher for a short period of time. Witches Brew: once drank, you gain a force field for a short period of time. Dodgeballs: does small damage to 1x1x1x1 if hit and stuns him briefly. Cannot be stunned for another 15 sec to avoid stunlocking him. Time Bomb: if it explodes near 1x1x1x1, it does massive damage. Hard to hit him with it as he is flying. Rocket Launcher: Your primary weapon in the fight. Shoot 1x1x1x1 to do small damage. Moms Dog: will face towards the secrets in the fight needed to get the Daemonshank. More on that later Now on to the actual attacks. Attack 1: a pop-up from Natural Disaster Survival tells you about a flash flood. Get high up on one of the structures before the flood comes to avoid damage. The flood disappears shortly after it reaches the climax. Attack 2: large red warning lines appear, then the classic jeep free model drives through where the lines signaled dealing damage. Attack 3: 1x1x1x1 equips a rocket launcher and starts shooting people with a larger than normal rocket that flings and does damage. Attack 4: some parts of the floor will slowly start fading out and disappearing. If you fall, you die. Attack 5: 1x1x1x1 spawns a giant taco in the middle that makes other smaller (but still large) tacos fall from the sky and do damage on contact, but do have a chance to be eaten and heal you. The attack ends when the giant taco is killed (takes 10 rocket launchers), if not killed in enough time other attacks can happen during it. It also plays Raining Tacos throughout the entire attack, obviously. All the attacks loop but get harder every loop, capping at x4 difficulty. The attacks are random but can only be done once twice per loop. 1x1x1x1 will be flying around the map during attacks, pausing and resting over the giant R for 30 sec after 2 attacks and after every loop, like the ender dragon kinda. After he loses all his health, the next phase begins. Phase 2 cutscene: The camera shows 1x1x1x1 get hit by a rocket, flinging his domino crown into the abyss and returning him to original avatar, but he still has the daemonshank. "Ow! … I admit, im impressed you made it this far. But dont think youve won just yet. I still have full control of Roblox.. when im finished with you.. and BUILDERMAN… i will bring MY ERA back. Everything new, including you knuckleheads, will be permanently deleted." Phase 2: Has all the attacks from phase 1, on the hardest variation. Attack 0.5: 1x1x1x1 will summon minions that take the appearance of A guest, a noob, the Survival The Jeff The Killer depiction of Jeff the killer, and John Doe. These minions act exactly like the original fight against 1x1x1x1 in The Classic, but only take one rocket launcher to kill. The minions spawn by erupting out of the volcano and where ever they fling onto is where that start. Invisible walls prevent them from being flung out of the map. This attack only happens in combination with other attacks, occurring every 3rd attack. Attack 1: 1x1x1x1 will teleport everyone including himself to the flaming circle battle area (i forgot the name of the game its from, sue me), and disables all items. He will act exactly like the original 1x1x1x1 fight from the classic during this attack, but the only way you can damage him is picking up the sword in the middle and using it to damage him, doing half the damage the rocket launcher does. This attack ends after around 20 sword hits. Attack 2: 2 Doomspire Brickbattle towers that are connected erupt from the ground, and you are teleported to the top of one. 1x1x1x1 will teleport around the opposing tower, attacking you with the weapons from Doomspire Brickbattle, but also giving you chances to hurt him. The attack ends when you blow up and/or knock over 1x1x1x1’s tower or 1x1x1x1 knocks over yours, dealing big damage. Attack 3: a red warning square appears, signaling the elevator from the The Normal Elevator’s landing. Whoever is crushed by the elevator dies. Once the elevator lands, everyone has 30 seconds to enter before dying. The elevator will then go up and open to one of 3 random floors: 1. Nothing, and everyone is pushed out and falls to the fight again 2. 1x1x1x1 exploding and taking massive damage, but if he is at so low health that he will die to the explosion, it leaves him on 1 hp. This floor can only show up once. 3. An obby. 4. Murder Mystery 2, and a murder throws a knife into the elevator, damaging anyone in its way. 5. The elevator doors dont open, but the elevator floors starts cracking and crumbling briefly before collapsing and anyone that falls dies. Attack 4: a giant spinner emerges out of the ground, damaging people that dont jump over it Phase 2 end cutscene and final attack: 1x1x1x1 attempts to block a rocket with his daemonshank, but the rocket shatters it. 1x1x1x1 is now offenseless. "AGGHHH!!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!?" He tries to calm down. "..Yknow what? You mightve destroyed my Daemonshank, but I still have some control. I just wish i woulda done this from the beginning." He then glitches everyone’s items out of existence. "And thats not all. Its time to end you fools once and for all. TEH EPIK DUCK IS COMING!!!!!!" Using the lasst of his power, 1x1x1x1 awakens Teh Epik Duck, whos eyes turn red and it flies into the sky, before returning to vision falling onto the entire area, and is even bigger than the area. Then, the camera pans to the 3 little ducks, who are sitting on the second floor of the roblox HQ. The cutscene then ends, and the players have to rush towards the little ducks before Teh Epik Duck crushes everything. Once someone gets to the ducks, a cutscene of them throwing the ducks toward 1x1x1x1. The rest of the cutscene plays out like this: The ducks float around 1x1x1x1, and he says "NONONONO WAIT WAIT WAIT-" before the ducks fly into him, blowing him up. The screen then fades to white and you are teleported to one of those Winners area things from old obbies, and credits roll. The only way to get back to the hub is using the new spawnpoint portal that connects it to the hub. You also get a new 1x1x1x1 Domino Crown avatar item, that has the glitchy style of the Daemonshank and the dots are replaced with red X’s, and a classic sword item thats for the hub only, and you get 10 tix and 5 OG tokens. When you get back to the hub you can see that along with a winners area portal, there is also a green and black portal that allows you to restart the bossfight without having to open the bunker. Getting the Daemonshank: When you play the bossfight again, 5 secrets will spawn around the fight. There are 2 in each phase, and the last one is during the final cutscene. As said before, Moms Dog will point toward every secret. Secret 1, Roblox (the account): in the bloxxers secret area Secret 2, Telamon: on the pot of gold Secret 3, Shedletsky: hiding on top of 1x1x1x1’s doomspire Secret 4, Clockwork: in the magic mirror After gathering all secrets, the final cutscene immediately plays no matter what health 1x1x1x1 has, but instead of the daemonshank blowing up, the 4 people you found show up and teleport it. And instead of going to the ducks, the hatch Teh Epik Duck was on opens, allowing you to go in and see builderman, you gives you a ban hammer and tells you to use it on 1x1x1x1. Once you do, 1x1x1x1 is finally banned once and for all, and the fight ends as usual, but you are rewarded 5 more tix and 2 more tokens, along with the Daemon Sword avatar item. Both endings of the fight give you a badge. I forgor to say earlier so Both phases have 1.5x the health of the original fight For those who actually wasted their time and read this, did i cook?
the fact that this was teased for almost FOUR WHOLE YEARS, just to get a jeff the killer boss fight with a sword that costs 400 dollars is disappointing. they shouldve atleast gave us a reward for beating 1x1x1x1.
they could’ve made 1x1x1x1 do special attacks but no blud walked as slow as a grandpa doing barley any dmg and would get defeated after like 9 rockets plus who would want to buy a glitchy green sword for 400 robux
They put the fvckin zombie AI onto the "boss," decreased it's attack speed, and called it a day. They didn't even add a health bar, which is easy as sh!t to do.
Literally wouldnt have even been hard to make it good. Should've been in a separate place, so either you could solo it or bring friends, and he shouldve been actually difficult and do special attacks. Once you defeat him you should get his sword for free.

When I was strolling through RU-vid I did find someone making a better cutscene concept of the 1x1x1x1 boss fight and sheesh it looked better than what we got from Roblox. The person who made the fan made cutscene is probably planning on making a better boss fight but that's not guaranteed.
you know whats funny? roblox mostly always gets natural disaster survival on their events, even on the hunt. Natural disaster survival is like probably the most classic game known and that is still up to this day but just in the event that's supposed to be a "play *classic games* for prizes" they didnt get it.

they def should've made it a week long event and pushed it back to june. its the end of the school year so I barely had any time to do the event and with most of the games being very time consuming, I barely got all the items at the last two hours.
I expected the boss would be longer and you can team up with people to defeat him and get something like a badge or an accessory which would be awarded for those who own all the token accessories, And now it's here and this is what we got, no phases, no new attacks, just a plain generic npc which have the goofy ah player tracking and swing the sword (also no badge + a sword with irl money) wow, good job roblox, you really had one job
Tbh events could still be good if Roblox actually listened and took notes from their community, and when they've learned how to do it properly, they could release a sequel to "The Classic".
The fact they gave us such little time aswell and there was games abusing the stuff out of the classic event just goes to show that roblox needs to do a better job I wont complain tho the items were fire.
Honestly this event just showed that they did it for the money instead of the fun nostalgia, not only were the rewards a bit stale, but the games they chose weren't good either, Like seriously, Toilet Tower Defense, Dress To Impress and Blade Ball??? All those came out last year. They could've given this to better, more classic games like Murder Mystery 2, Flood Escape, Deathrun, and so much more old games. This event was such a let down, I expected so much more from roblox. They better make it worth my time when they release a second part.
I think that Classix was a HUUUUUUGE step up compared to The Hunt. Of course theres still its flaws (short amount of time to complete it, that god awful boss, the paid items, a few game choices..) But some of the games were pretty fun, the lobby was interactive and fun to explore, and the items were actually pretty good. ... fuck Blade Ball though THAT GAME CAN GO BURN.
So roblox said about being able to used tix after the event ended so this makes theories of another classic event. Especially since we only got 4 items, 15 games, and 5 days, I feel like they're going to do more classic events and use the feedback to slowly increase the the quality of the event. Also with this said, I feel like this is just phase 1 of the bossfight, and either classic event will be a different phase.

Legit the 1x1x1x1 Fight in A Dusty Trip was an ACTUAL Boss fight yet in the OFFICIAL HUB it was just something straight outta Survive and Kill the Killers in Area 51
For me, first time playing he event on the 25th was… underwhelming. It was just egg hunt 2024, but worse. Barely any classic games (that one dragon game sucked) pay walls, ridiculous prices, and a lame boss. Roblox has just lost its touch.

Roblox completely butchered the event and missed so many chances while many people wanted old classic legit games to participate in the hunt and wanted an epic never-before-seen boss ending with cutscenes and animations with a free reward/badge afterwards. Roblox only perfected the hub and that was pretty much it.

my issue is that they didnt let this event breathe or anything. they should've gave the devs more time to actually do something with the classic idea instead of find the tix simulator or npc brainrot quests. it felt really disingenuous on roblox's part and the devs farming for followers felt really scummy.

He must’ve been trapped in there since like 2009, when combat was easier, he wasn’t ready for the bazookas. Had he been out longer, he would’ve had a better boss fight. But he was still using old combat. But don’t worry. We still have John and Jane Doe to worry about, and maybe they’ll have better bosss fights
As someone whose been on Roblox since 2012, the entire event itself didn't really feel classic as one would expect. They had several choices to pick, old classic games that are still active to this day but instead, they went on with games that were extremely time-consuming (shoutout to Restaurant Tycoon 2 for that one) and overall not great. However, there were a few games that were entertaining to play such as Gun Fight Arena and Arsenal. Overall, The event in general was very disappointing in my opinion.
Man, my favorite Roblox classic from 2015 was definitely toilet tower defense, very nostalgic game entirely. 100% pure nostalgic memories…. In all seriousness, Best part about this event entire was the lobby for it 💀and that’s it
It would have been funny if they included a heavily edited version of the song in the credits and called it "the money we made along the way". But roblox neither has a good sense of humor nor any empathy for the community.
They were probably scared that people would criticize a giant live event and boss fight because “it’s not classic”. But nobody cares and we were disappointed.

I only bothered getting 2 of the free cosmetics and most of the lobby badges, this event was so disappointing otherwise considering how hyped up it was. For once, Roblox was actually acknowledging their past and what made the platform what it is today, and they blew it by making it into a cash grab. Poor game quest quality control, only a single "classic" game when the event is _all about_ classic Roblox, some of which employed egregious P2W tactics. The 19,000 Robux costumes, the 600 Robux golden versions of the free cosmetics and the glitched sword costing a whopping 40k Robux which is _$400_ irl.. I just.. huh??? I'm not mad, just _severely_ disappointed.
Exactly! This event seems more of like a quick cash grab to get money (discluding the free items) rather than a genuine event. And even if they meant it as a genuine event, the event was so rushed and poorly executed. They could've definitely took more time to make the event more fun and could've gave us something after the boss fight but instead they decided to do nothing🤷.
*WHAT I THINK IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN* I feel like for the ending, it should have been 1x1x1x1 in base form trying to attack the classic games and hub. We have to beat an obby because builderman would say it would save Roblox. But at the end, 1x1x1x1 would get a cool cutscene of him morphing into his best form. It would have an amazing soundtrack and would be pretty hard. Telemon, Roblox, Builderman, and the players would try not to die, (they would shoot the stuff they bought with Tix.) Then Shedletsky or Erik cassel (As a way of saying he's a hero) would use all periastrons to create the omega periastron laser which would kill 1x1x1x1. If it were Shedletsky, he would say "Chicken anyone?" While holding the chicken item. If it were Erik Cassel, he would fade away. Everyone would get the cake giveaway items or the daemonshank plus 100 roux. Before the credits play with hopeful music. Then Eriks avatar would appear and say something, then teleport using an omega periastron laser. And after that we would also get the oof sound back. The music would also sound like Undertale music.
Almost every developers can beat roblox like roblox doesn’t put any efforts in the boss fight to entertain and decided to make everyone’s hope vanish by making the 1x1x1x1 sword only buyable

I feel like the event was way too short, I was gone for maybe half of it and I was grinding all day to get that bucket hat because it reminded me of my childhood on skyblox but i couldn’t get it because the event ended so fast
The hub area was fantastic, it captured classic roblox well (excluding the boss) the bundles are trash tbh and it shares the same issue with the hunt, that they chose games that put 0 effort and games that did put effort like arsenal. Another thing I liked is that some of the rewards looked good, you didn’t need to play 95 games to get all of them. HOWEVER that boss fight and locking the sword behind a MASSIVE paywall was a very roblox move and dampened the event significantly by giving players a anticlimactic boss fight with no reward after a 4 year build up.
While it wasn’t close to a perfect, it was a HUGE upgrade from the hunt. I really liked secrets in the hub as I suck at all these new roblox games and can’t get there coins or tix.
